The stage went fine. I’m trying to enjoy myself after yesterday’s mechanical problems. I’ll try to do some mileage and avoid problems for the rest of the leg. A good start in the morning, we have nothing to lose. A clean stage for us, so much dust in the car, so hard to see… we left the vent open so my mistake. We are coming from tarmac, so some still some adjustments to make. | |

The first stage of the day was complex. I still had not warmed up, and I’m still trying to find my pace. From now on it’s time to push. I am positive, full attack on the position and then we see where we are. It is slippy in places but it was not as bad as I thought it would be. It is getting more and more dust, I made a few small mistakes as I could not see the road. I arrive some places too fast and could not see the line. My time is good, but I’m not totally satisfied. The stage was quite clean, but I was careful in the racing lines, especially in the tighter corners, because I was afraid of going off the road. | |
