INFORMATION ABOUT SS 10
(75 - Evans Elfyn / Barritt Daniel): technical problem - clutch after SS 10
(121 - Protasov Yuriy / Sikk Kuldar): retired in SS 10
(9 - Mikkelsen Andreas / Markkula Mikko): The stage went fine. I’m trying to enjoy myself after yesterday’s mechanical problems. I’ll try to do some mileage and avoid problems for the rest of the leg. A good start in the morning, we have nothing to lose. A clean stage for us, so much dust in the car, so hard to see… we left the vent open so my mistake. We are coming from tarmac, so some still some adjustments to make.
(21 - Prokop Martin / Ernst Michal): It was difficult conditions, there was a lot of dust and the sun is coming through the dust, difficult to see. Short stage but difficult.
(22 - Paddon Hayden / Kennard John): Car on gravel is like nothing I have ever driven before - this is my first time in a WRC car on gravel. I hope the next two ones will be better.
(4 - Østberg Mads / Andersson Jonas): he stage is beautiful. Lot of dust in the stage, difficult when you are not pushing flat out to take the risks that you have to take. I’m happy with the driving, the car feels fine, and I hope today will be better than the previous days.
(2 - Hirvonen Mikko / Lehtinen Jarmo): There was so much dust in places and I did not get the best rhythm. I’m satisfied about my driving, and the stage is really nice.
(5 - Novikov Evgeny / Minor Ilka): Was very deceptive and I did not take any risks. There was a lot of dust in places.
(8 - Ogier Sébastien / Ingrassia Julien): Not easy because lot of dust in the stage. We tried. I do not know if I can catch Latvala, it is a big gap, but I will try. Fighting for victory is not easy, but I’m in for it.
(3 - Sordo Dani / Del Barrio Carlos): I made some mistake during the stage. I’m not very happy about my time, but I’ll keep pushing. In some places there was lot of dust.
(7 - Latvala Jari-Matti / Anttila Miikka): The first stage of the day was complex. I still had not warmed up, and I’m still trying to find my pace. From now on it’s time to push. I am positive, full attack on the position and then we see where we are. It is slippy in places but it was not as bad as I thought it would be. There are some concrete places where the braking is difficult.
(144 - Sarabia Oscar / Fernandez Sara): retired before SS 10
(131 - Julia David / Valibouze Christophe): retired before SS 10
(11 - Neuville Thierry / Gilsoul Nicolas): It is getting more and more dust, I made a few small mistakes as I could not see the road. I arrive some places too fast and could not see the line. My time is good, but I’m not totally satisfied. The stage was quite clean, but I was careful in the racing lines, especially in the tighter corners, because I was afraid of going off the road.
