INFORMATION ABOUT SS 16
(2 - Latvala Jari-Matti / Anttila Miikka): Towards the end of the stage it was very nice, at the beginning quite a lot of dirt in places, it was difficult to get the feeling for the road. After that I relax. I am not trying to be aggressive at the moment, I am trying to be clever. At the moment I am not thinking about the power stage.
(9 - Mikkelsen Andreas / Fløene Ola): It was a clean stage for us, it is all about controlling Meeke. This morning it is all about enjoying.
(3 - Meeke Kris / Nagle Paul): We are just following the splits of the guys in front and trying to protect our position. It’s quite tricky in there.
(8 - Sordo Dani / Martí Marc): It was not so bad. Some very dirty places, a lot corners on the stage were different from the recce, but a nice stage. Very fast, a lot of speed but not a lot of confidence. The car is okay, really no problem. The car move a little bit but you have grip.
(10 - Kubica Robert / Szczepaniak Maciej): We did not touch anything. Here we have completely wrong tyres unfortunately. We were on 4 softs, we were expecting 10 kilometres damp but the was only 1 kilometre.
(5 - Hirvonen Mikko / Lehtinen Jarmo): We had really mixed information from the safety crew and I am not sure we made the right tyres choice for this one, also a little bit fog on the fast section. There is only one section that is damp so the hard tyres would have been good.
(4 - Østberg Mads / Andersson Jonas): I cannot do anything else, it is just how it is. I have a mix of tyres, I can try to find something that works. It is a little bit more difficult today, my spare difficult is a little different and I struggle. I cannot do anything more, a different car today and I cannot do anything more.
(6 - Evans Elfyn / Barritt Daniel): It was ok. Time is not bad, lets just see what happens. It is not a steady run but I am comfortable and I feel ok, so we’ll carry on.
(20 - Bouffier Bryan / Panseri Xavier): It was ok. It was humid and on the new tarmac it is very slippery.
(7 - Neuville Thierry / Gilsoul Nicolas): The fog was ok, but in the beginning it was quite slippy. Tricky many things can happen, I slow down a bit, I did not want to push on this one at all. It’s better, much better than yesterday. We have no reason to push so it is difficult for me to take it in the right rhythm.
(21 - Prokop Martin / Tománek Jan): Pretty good, little pressure. We are just dying to stay on the road, sometimes we jump and a little slippy. In the fast section it was big big fog. The feeling is better but we are not pushing like yesterday.
(22 - Maurin Julien / Klinger Nicolas): We take care on the stage, we try to enjoy the second lap.
(11 - Kuipers Dennis / Buysmans Robin): Quite quickly at the beginning, there was a big jump in the road and we jumped out of the road, we were very lucky.
(12 - Protasov Yuriy / Cherepin Pavlo): The conditions is difficult. Many wet on the road, sometimes slippery for me.
(1 - Ogier Sébastien / Ingrassia Julien): For sure a bit more rhythm to validate the notes for the power stage. There was a small mis-understanding with his tyre choice. I have three soft and three hard.
