INFORMATION ABOUT SS 9 | |
(4 - Østberg Mads / Andersson Jonas): Quite tricky stages this morning, I had a big impact quite early on in this stage. I have a big vibration on the front. I don’t think it is a puncture so I have to check.
(44 - Camilli Eric / Veillas Benjamin): My target for today is to preserve my third place. We were very careful.
(42 - Breen Craig / Martin Scott): Try and keep Eric (Camilli) behind and improve our speed if we can.
(45 - Kopecký Jan / Dresler Pavel): Today we would like to keep our position and go as fast as possible without making any stupid mistakes. I want to push as this helps me keep the concentration on the maximum and you enjoy much more the driving.
(20 - Paddon Hayden / Kennard John): The first bit of the stage was really good, the second half we were slow on the pace notes. I have to brake better.
(14 - Kubica Robert / Szczepaniak Maciej): All good. This stage we haven’t done last year as it was done when we were retired, so we are trying to correct pace notes.
(21 - Prokop Martin / Tománek Jan): The car was not stable, not braking well. We try to stay with the cross (mixture of hard and soft compound tyres) but it is not working.
(8 - Sordo Dani / Martí Marc): Not so bad, this stage I make mistakes in some places, was not flat out all the time. I am quite happy.
(20 - Paddon Hayden / Kennard John): On a hairpin, just touched something. Trying to focus.
(6 - Tänak Ott / Mõlder Raigo): He (Evans) has done a good job. I just need to go faster…
(5 - Evans Elfyn / Barritt Daniel): Maybe we should do the whole rally on this stage! Ok, it was a bit slippy at the start, lost a bit on the brakes in some sections. It’s alright, just need to make sure we are not a one stage wonder after this.
(3 - Meeke Kris / Nagle Paul): Rhythm is not a problem, just never done this stage before, a lot of high speed braking sections, I just wasn’t sure where to brake.
I had a good stage but my brake pedal was getting very soft, I have to bleed the brake, it is strange.
(9 - Mikkelsen Andreas / Fløene Ola): We are not going flat out at all, just trying to find a clean rhythm and stay there.
(4 - Østberg Mads / Andersson Jonas): It was ok, I do a couple of big mistakes, in junctions and hairpins, I am not able to do a handbrake turn, very strange.
(2 - Latvala Jari-Matti / Anttila Miikka): We drove like this now. The car set-up is fine, just the braking seems to be a problem for me, some sections I can’t get the feeling when I should be braking.
(1 - Ogier Sébastien / Ingrassia Julien): A little bit slippy in places but a clean drive.
The sun is shining and blue sky in Trier. |
