(39 - Tidemand Pontus / Axelsson Emil): Nice start, it is real difficult to know what speed you have, I thought I was rather slow. When you start to push, you understeer or oversteer. Clean run, no big push.
(38 - Lappi Esapekka / Ferm Janne): I think it was ok, we will see how the other guys are coming. I was really on the safe side. It is understeering much. They are cutting a lot and there is a lot of mud.
(24 - Dumas Romain / Giraudet Denis): A lot of slides, but it was ok. Just what we need for the first stage.
(25 - Delecour François / De Castelli Sabrina): Tyres was going very well, maybe a little bit too soft. There was so much mud coming from the WRC cars, a dirty road.
(22 - Sarrazin Stéphane / Renucci Jacques-Julien): Everything fine, first session in the wet with my car. Challenging, tricky. I just try to enjoy myself.
(15 - Bouffier Bryan / De La Haye Thibault): Very tricky, was difficult for me to find a good pace. A lot of corners were dirty. It is very tricky and I am sure the following one will be also.
(10 - Abbring Kevin / Marshall Sebastian): Now I feel that I have to be really patient on the throttle in the corner otherwise you are too early in the next one.
(37 - Bertelli Lorenzo / Granai Lorenzo): I cannot go faster than this, the car for me is un-driveable. I have massive understeering. I cannot do nothing different with the car like this.
(12 - Lefebvre Stéphane / Prévot Stéphane): It was really difficult. The grip is variable.
(14 - Kubica Robert / Szczepaniak Maciej): Not easy, we took it quite steady. I was upset before the stage, we have different car to yesterday. We have to cool down, we did quite good stage without really pushing. The car is really understeering. Before the stage we had a bit of issue. I was just driving, we do not have the right setup on the car.
(21 - Prokop Martin / Tománek Jan): Interesting, I had no idea how fast I am driving. When I try something, it always start understeering. Not easy conditions to understand. Really slippery.
(8 - Sordo Dani / Martí Marc): A little bit understeer at the end of the stage. Many many corners already very dirty. Very slippery, we did not take any risk. Not so bad.
(20 - Paddon Hayden / Kennard John): I don’t enjoy this at all, the middle part was not too bad, there was some grip. We are just using this as a learning experience.
(5 - Evans Elfyn / Barritt Daniel): This is alright, the start is very slippery, there was a section in the middle where there was bags of grip. There were places where you felt you were going so slow.
(6 - Tänak Ott / Mõlder Raigo): Definitely the conditions were not so bad as expected. Really cautious. I am not confident to push in these conditions.
(3 - Meeke Kris / Nagle Paul): When I saw Neuville off at the second corner, I thought I need to be clever. I just picked my rhythm to stay on the safe side.
(7 - Neuville Thierry / Gilsoul Nicolas): broken wheel in SS 1
(4 - Østberg Mads / Andersson Jonas): Very tricky conditions, quite dry in the beginning but towards the end it is getting very wet. The handling, I struggle a bit, quite difficult conditions. Sometimes there was really lot of water on the road.
(9 - Mikkelsen Andreas / Fløene Ola): I just really struggled to find any confidence in these conditions. I will build it up over the weekend. I will take my time to get my confidence on this surface. I will do this step-by-step.
(2 - Latvala Jari-Matti / Anttila Miikka): I am please with that, as it was not an easy start. The car was performing well, I did not take any risks. I wanted to get it on the rhythm.
(1 - Ogier Sébastien / Ingrassia Julien): It's a cautious start but not easy. For sure if you push here you can make a lot of time.
