INFORMATION ABOUT SS 2
(7 - Meeke Kris / Nagle Paul): Not a great morning - a really stupid situation. I turned into a left-hander and ran into some ruts. I backed off and thought okay, we're going to spin, but the car slid, touched a bank and we went over. Really stupid.
(92 - Besoli Marcel / Carulla Xavier): retired before SS 2
(41 - Suárez José António / Carrera Cándido): retired in SS 2
(8 - Breen Craig / Martin Scott): Not great conditions but we just have to drive to our best. It was hairy in places but I actually enjoyed it. I tried to drive cleanly and not make any mistakes.
(12 - Tänak Ott / Mõlder Raigo): The diff problem is still there but that's not the issue for now. The road is full of water and I can't go faster than third gear, even on the straights. No chance.
(7 - Meeke Kris / Nagle Paul): I rolled in a fourth-gear corner. I was in the middle of the the corner and the car dug in and turned us over. I thought I'd got away with it but the rain is filling the ruts now and it's hard to drive.
(5 - Østberg Mads / Fløene Ola): It's raining a lot and the wipers have no chance to keep up with the water. I have a really bad noise in the car too. It feels like something to do with the handbrake. A proper rattling.
(7 - Meeke Kris / Nagle Paul): rolled
(4 - Sordo Dani / Martí Marc): Everything is ok. The road is very slippery and it's difficult to find the grip - it's very inconsistent. I'm sure that's the same for all of us.
(2 - Latvala Jari-Matti / Anttila Miikka): Everything is ok. We could have been better, and we had a few moments, but overall I feel we are there in the race.
(20 - Paddon Hayden / Kennard John): We've got an engine problem. I've lost the anti-lag and we're down on power and throttle response. It went flat in the second half of the stage. We'll take a look now.
(3 - Neuville Thierry / Gilsoul Nicolas): The stage went ok. I thought I could go faster but the time is good. The rear of the car gave me some oversteer, but it was ok. The lines in the road show somebody was going pretty wide in places.
(9 - Mikkelsen Andreas / Jæger Anders): I could see from Seb's lines that he's pushing. For me it was a clean stage, but the grip is very inconsistent. One minute you have it, and then it's gone. It's difficult to know where.
(1 - Ogier Sébastien / Ingrassia Julien): Slippery for sure. Quite a bit of standing water around. I started a bit on the safe side, it's difficilt to find the limit. With more rain falling now for sure the first loop will be difficult. I'm not sure we'll see any dry out here today.
Weather on stage is rainy and foggy, temperature around 14.
