INFORMATION ABOUT SS 8
Results are not correct due to technical issues on organisers/promoters side.
flash info (36 - Åhlin Fredrik / Abrahamsen Morten Erik): Scary to drive with the throttle like this.
flash info (51 - Grøndal Anders / Walfridsson Miriam): Very happy. I lost a couple of seconds in a corner but overall I enjoyed it. This car setup works better in the fast stuff.
flash info (32 - Tidemand Pontus / Andersson Jonas): We managed to fix the broken driveshaft on the road section. I'm grateful to Skoda who gave us some mechanical training before the rally.
flash info (31 - Lappi Esapekka / Ferm Janne): On the first corner I lost the rear. I started to spin and the front went into a ditch. We were stuck, that's all. Still, we are here. The most important thing is the experience. For sure I'm disappointed.
flash info (30 - Al Rajhi Yazeed / Orr Michael): It’s good, we try in the fast corner to push a little bit. Tomorrow I try to push a little bit the second loop. We do I think well first rally here.
flash info (15 - Breen Craig / Martin Scott): I was struggling a bit all morning with my braking. It’s been much more than I expected, I think you can only be happy with the experience so far.
flash info (6 - Camilli Eric / Klinger Nicolas): Very good. I am happy, I have no off. I think it is possible to push in the fast corner but I need time. Nice road but I was frightened to make a mistake.
retired (7 - Meeke Kris / Nagle Paul): technical problem - damaged wheel in SS 8
flash info (37 - Bertelli Lorenzo / Scattolin Simone): Much better, maybe we could go a bit softer. This was fun.
flash info (14 - Al Qassimi Khalid / Patterson Chris): Very difficult conditions now with having more snow. The car is moving a lot.
flash info (4 - Paddon Hayden / Kennard John): We obviously have an advantage. A lot of places where we go way too wide, untidy but it is the same fro everybody. You have to sit and be patience some times. Meeke is parked up at a junction.
flash info (2 - Latvala Jari-Matti / Anttila Miikka): It is going better than in the morning for sure. I am starting to get use to the car so we are not losing so much now.
flash info (12 - Tänak Ott / Mõlder Raigo): Very snowy and slippy and exactly what we were hoping. Now is ok. I have been trying quite hard all day so we just keep going.
flash info (20 - Sordo Dani / Martí Marc): Difficult, I try to catch the car moving a lot in the rear. One more stage for today, we enjoy a lot.
flash info (5 - Østberg Mads / Fløene Ola): It was quit a good run, but so much snow in there. We wanted snow all week and now we have it! I had a good run but it is cleaning a lot. For the first 6, 7, 8 cars there will be a big difference in time.
flash info (3 - Neuville Thierry / Gilsoul Nicolas): With all the snow I can’t use the lines of the car in front. With 2 wheel drive it is really difficult. I can’t brake very late as it locks the wheels on the rear, so I have to be very careful.
(7 - Meeke Kris / Nagle Paul): stopped in stage
flash info (9 - Mikkelsen Andreas / Jæger Anders): There's more snow about now. It's making things much more slippery.
flash info (1 - Ogier Sébastien / Ingrassia Julien): I think I lost a lot of time.
(1 - Ogier Sébastien / Ingrassia Julien): missed junction
