(46 - Aasen Marius / Engan Veronica): I'm trusting the car more as the day goes on.
(45 - Veiby Ole Christian / Skjærmoen Stig Rune): We are really happy with the progress we have made today. It's hard to adapt to a new car of course. It's going according to the plan.
(36 - Åhlin Fredrik / Abrahamsen Morten Erik): A very difficult day but I'm proud with how we have handled it.
(51 - Grøndal Anders / Walfridsson Miriam): We had a spin in the last corner, that lost us six or seven seconds. A bit annoying - a silly mistake.
(34 - Brynildsen Eyvind / Fredriksson Anders): It's been character building! I tried not to lose too much time with the driveshaft. I can be happy with my driving and apart from the driveshaft the car has run perfectly.
(32 - Tidemand Pontus / Andersson Jonas): I'm happy. Ok, some problems with the driveshaft but all is working well here. I don't know what the gap is now but for sure we will try.
(31 - Lappi Esapekka / Ferm Janne): We are still here. We have never been here on this rally before. A small mistake but thanks to the spectators who helped us out. I'm still quite happy with my day.
(38 - Tempestini Simone / Chiarcossi Matteo): A difficult day but we are happy to be here. We will work on our setup in service.
(42 - Ptaszek Hubert / Szczepaniak Maciej): Not such a bad day, some small problem here with a lack of power but we've enjoyed it.
(44 - Evans Elfyn / Parry Craig): I didn't have a great run in here, the grip was changeable, but I'm definitely happy with my day. There are some big expectations after Monte and I'm keen to show it was no fluke.
(30 - Al Rajhi Yazeed / Orr Michael): We try to push a little bit. We push little bit in the fast section, help me to make good time. Hope tomorrow we can reach more high level.
(16 - Solberg Henning / Minor Ilka): I drive like a maniac… The engine did not go for a long time… It’s not bad. For a long time I was absolutely crazy.
(15 - Breen Craig / Martin Scott): I had a spin, I had a funny feeling on a left hander like I had lost the studs. I am still happy with the day, with the speed. I need to improve, make some improvements and start again tomorrow.
(6 - Camilli Eric / Klinger Nicolas): I am happy for this afternoon and for the learning. This last one was hard and easy to damage the car. I am happy.
(2 - Latvala Jari-Matti / Anttila Miikka): technical problem - suspension in SS 9
(37 - Bertelli Lorenzo / Scattolin Simone): I think now is more tricky than this morning, as the snow is covering the edge of the corner and sometimes is a gamble.
(14 - Al Qassimi Khalid / Patterson Chris): The biggest problem for me in the last two stages is we lost a lot of traction, backed off a lot of places. Changed a lot of clicks with the dampers.
(4 - Paddon Hayden / Kennard John): Road conditions have played a big part today. As far as the grip, it has been very consistent. I am not 100% confident with the car, the front is not reacting as I want it to.
(12 - Tänak Ott / Mõlder Raigo): I have been pushing quite hard, all thanks to the snow otherwise we would have been struggling a lot. I think can be very happy with the first day.
(2 - Latvala Jari-Matti / Anttila Miikka): stopped in stage
(20 - Sordo Dani / Martí Marc): It was good, but I lost a little bit time in the first passes. This stage is nice. I try to keep the gap with the others, a really nice fight.
(5 - Østberg Mads / Fløene Ola): It is very encouraging, we a little bit difficult this morning but then the snow arrived and I was happy. I wanted to be there from the beginning and I was a little bit disappointed with myself. We made some changes to the car and to the driving.
(3 - Neuville Thierry / Gilsoul Nicolas): That’s the game, sometimes life is hard. We are continuing driving. I feel like I am doing two wheel drive championship, I am getting use to it.
(9 - Mikkelsen Andreas / Jæger Anders): We have done a couple of mistakes today, I can only thank myself… Okay we are here, I took it a little bit too cautious in here as I expected it would be worse.
(1 - Ogier Sébastien / Ingrassia Julien): Already this afternoon I struggle a lot, but I push hard as I know I will lose a lot. I do my best and expect to lose a lot. It was a great first day of the race. I got a bit lucky when we went off on this one tricky corner.
