(34 - Brynildsen Eyvind / Fredriksson Anders): Good fun. Full ice. The organisers have done a good job with the stage but we caught Foulon so they might want to look at the seedings.
(32 - Tidemand Pontus / Andersson Jonas): The start was good but we caught the car ahead and after that we lost our rhythm.
(31 - Lappi Esapekka / Ferm Janne): I catch the Mitsubishi. I don't know how much time we lost. It is what it is.
(42 - Ptaszek Hubert / Szczepaniak Maciej): Conditions better than we thought.
(44 - Evans Elfyn / Parry Craig): Road conditions are really hard. A surprise to many people I think. Pretty tricky to find the grip, but the feeling is good. The car is working well.
(30 - Al Rajhi Yazeed / Orr Michael): I need more experience because the car has a lot of speed. It's scaring me and I need to respect that.
(16 - Solberg Henning / Minor Ilka): I had a little problem with the downshift. Not a good stage but I do my best.
(15 - Breen Craig / Martin Scott): I did not touch anything, I don’t know. It is so difficult to get in the rhythm. It was slushy on my test so it's hard to get my head around the different conditions.
(6 - Camilli Eric / Klinger Nicolas): Not really good confidence here without the snow banks. It's not easy to find the limit on braking. No problem though.
(37 - Bertelli Lorenzo / Scattolin Simone): It’s ok like this. So long as it stays frosty, it's better than we expected.
(14 - Al Qassimi Khalid / Patterson Chris): It's my first time to drive in these unpredictable conditions. I tried hard to find the grip.
(4 - Paddon Hayden / Kennard John): Not so bad. Stage conditions were better than we'd anticipated. It will take time to adjust to the new car. No problems, just a bit too careful.
(7 - Meeke Kris / Nagle Paul): Credit to the organisers, they've worked well on this stage. I was quite steady at the beginning. It's all about picking your braking point . A good start. Not so bad.
(2 - Latvala Jari-Matti / Anttila Miikka): We have a problem. The driveshaft broke 2 km before the end. I don't know what spares we have in the car.
(12 - Tänak Ott / Mõlder Raigo): It is very hard and really slippy in places. I push hard, i do my best. Conditions not so bad. It was good clean run.
UPDATE from Clerk of the Course - stage is running normally
(20 - Sordo Dani / Martí Marc): Not so bad. Difficult to know how far you can push. We have a warning on the dash showing high water temperature.
(5 - Østberg Mads / Fløene Ola): Not a good stage for me, unfortunately I struggle a bit. Not a good feeling. I just have to get use to driving the car in these conditions.
(3 - Neuville Thierry / Gilsoul Nicolas): The car wasn't turning too well in the left-hand corners, but it was ok. The stage was okay at the beginning, but a bit rougher at the end.
(9 - Mikkelsen Andreas / Jæger Anders): The base is hard, it felt like the tyres were going off a bit at the end. A decent start.
(1 - Ogier Sébastien / Ingrassia Julien): The road is pretty hard. With no test or shakedown in these conditions it's good to try hard.
First run through Torsby is neutralised and is used as a high-speed recce for the second pass this afternoon.
