INFORMATION ABOUT SS 1
(36 - Bonato Yoann / Giraudet Denis): This is my first event on gravel since 2009 - and with no test I need to find my mark.
(34 - Tidemand Pontus / Axelsson Emil): A big fight ahead, really looking forward to the real start. Good to start tonight with a clean run.
(33 - Suninen Teemu / Markkula Mikko): Last year was not so easy for me but this year we are doing good work. Can I win? Hopefully yes.
(1 - Ogier Sébastien / Ingrassia Julien): It was a good start, but I was a bit careful. In the middle of the stage I had completely had no boost, but it came back. I have no idea what it was, I hope the team can quickly fix it.
(3 - Paddon Hayden / Kennard John): We just drive our own rally like every other rally. The real rally starts tomorrow. Set our own pace, our own goals.
(7 - Meeke Kris / Nagle Paul): A couple of events away. The rally starts tomorrow. The long final corner we had some long massive understeer, and we lost a couple of ten’s there, but ten’s don’t bother me.
(2 - Latvala Jari-Matti / Anttila Miikka): I hope to be able to fight for the victory this year. We had a good start, but I think it was quite equal. We made a couple of mistakes, it was quite slippery on some of the corners.
(4 - Sordo Dani / Martí Marc): It was a nice. It is a stage that you can make a big mistake, so we do not take risk. Some of the corners we were quite wide and we lose some time.
(9 - Mikkelsen Andreas / Jæger Anders): It was not too bad, almost stall the car two times. I think we need to check something on the car. Tomorrow everything starts. We just drive in a good place where we feel comfortable.
(5 - Østberg Mads / Fløene Ola): It was not so bad, quite a spectacular stage. Starting together is a lot more fun. First of all we need to confirm the changes have done with the car, particularly the changes with the gearbox.
(20 - Neuville Thierry / Gilsoul Nicolas): I am quite confident, I feel very good with the car. It is nice to start a rally like this. For sure there is less pressure, but we always want to do well.
(10 - Abbring Kevin / Marshall Sebastian): I got very little time before the rally start and you have to use every metre to get use to the car. You really had to really look where the grip was.
(12 - Tänak Ott / Mõlder Raigo): We are on the hard tyre, on the sandy parts actually really tricky. I hope we do not lose too much today.
(6 - Camilli Eric / Veillas Benjamin): It's a relief to get to the end this time. I was a little bit stressed.
(8 - Lefebvre Stéphane / Moreau Gabin): Very slippery but ok, no big mistakes. The real race starts tomorrow.
(30 - Al Rajhi Yazeed / Orr Michael): I enjoyed, better than last year and good to be so close to Khalid.
(14 - Al Qassimi Khalid / Patterson Chris): Nice fun, a bit wide in one corner though.
(21 - Prokop Martin / Tománek Jan): I enjoyed to be back in Fiona after a long break.
(32 - Ptaszek Hubert / Szczepaniak Maciej): We enjoyed, maybe too much power in the slow corners - it's so slippery.
(31 - Evans Elfyn / Parry Craig): The car felt ok, I'm trying not to take too much out of the tyres because we'll need then later on.
(22 - Melichárek Jaroslav / Melichárek Erik): stalled engine
