INFORMATION ABOUT SS 11
flash info (11 - Breen Craig / Martin Scott): I have no idea what happened. We had a bit of smoke in the stage (SS11), and we stopped several times to check there was no fire. There was nothing. Every time we stopped the smoke went down, so we thought it was just heat. It was the same again at the end of the stage. When we stopped it cooled down, all the heat had dispersed from the centre of the car and we thought everything was fine. Then it [the fire] just flew up from the rear right. We couldn't do anything. The extinguishers were no use. I'm gutted for everyone. It sounds pathetic but I love my rallying and I've destroyed a car. I can't believe it.
Stage was stopped due to fire. Rest of the field will receive notional times.
retired (11 - Breen Craig / Martin Scott): fire after SS 11
(4 - Mikkelsen Andreas / Jæger Anders): A few spins and stalls approaching the stage end.
flash info (7 - Latvala Jari-Matti / Anttila Miikka): Incredible the conditions on the stage. We had a rear puncture and hydraulic pressure problems. Now we are losing time. Let's see what the hydraulic pressure does.
retired (21 - Al Rajhi Yazeed / Orr Michael): retired in SS 11
retired (1 - Ogier Sébastien / Ingrassia Julien): accident in SS 11
flash info (11 - Breen Craig / Martin Scott): I have no idea. A couple of kilometres in we began to get smoke in the car. Later I had to stop because I physically couldn't see. We have to go and take a look now.
flash info (6 - Paddon Hayden / Marshall Sebastian): Really hard on the tyres, you could feel them change at about 15 km. I didn't manage them the best.
flash info (3 - Suninen Teemu / Markkula Mikko): Still it's really good. It was a big fight. We made it at the last minute and I'm happy to be here!
