INFORMATION ABOUT SS 12
retired (24 - Heikkilä Mikko / Vaaleri Samu): accident in SS 12
flash info (8 - Tänak Ott / Järveoja Martin): We are trying our best. I don't know if it's struggling, but it's just difficult. The conditions are actually quite consistent but something else makes it inconsistent.
flash info (4 - Lappi Esapekka / Ferm Janne): It's not easy. It's very slippery and I made many mistakes. I thought I was early on this junction but no - it's too slippery!
flash info (33 - Evans Elfyn / Martin Scott): I probably focused too much on being tidy and in the clean line. I could sort of sense it, but it's hard to know in conditions like that. In can go one of two ways.
flash info (69 - Rovanperä Kalle / Halttunen Jonne): I just try to do the best I can. This was a cleaner stage than the one before, so hopefully the time is good. I don't mind the rain.
flash info (18 - Katsuta Takamoto / Johnston Aaron): It's very slippery - I don't know why we stalled the engine there under braking. It's not nice.
retired (42 - Breen Craig / Nagle Paul): accident in SS 12
flash info (11 - Neuville Thierry / Wydaeghe Martijn): I am not comfortable to be honest. The car set-up is better now, but I am missing the precision. I tried to drive fast and enjoy as well, but you can feel while you are driving that it's not enough.
flash info (7 - Loubet Pierre-Louis / Landais Vincent): It was very, very difficult. There are some places at the end where you have no grip and I was aquaplaning in two or three places. It's very easy to go a mistake.
flash info (44 - Greensmith Gus / Andersson Jonas): I was aquaplaning absolutely everywhere and having massive snaps at 190kph! We were just about keeping it on the road.
flash info (68 - Huttunen Jari / Lukka Mikko): There was heavy rain, so it was difficult to see and also hard to keep the car on the road - even in the straight lines.
flash info (16 - Fourmaux Adrien / Coria Alexandre): It was really tricky. The only grip I could get was in the line of the recce but we started to have some standing water and I was aquaplaning a lot. At 180kph, the wipers don't go quick enough.
