INFORMATION ABOUT SS 22
(33 - Evans Elfyn / Martin Scott): It's been a pretty good weekend. Of course we're sorry for the loss of Kalle at the start of the rally but after that it's been really fantastic to drive this car - it's such a joy to be behind the wheel of on these roads and we're really happy with this one. It's been a fantastic atmosphere and great to have the support behind us. Of course, in terms of the championship it's also not bad and we close the gap.
(11 - Neuville Thierry / Wydaeghe Martijn): It's a big relief to be on the podium in Finland again after 10 years of, I would say, a struggle. It shows that together with the team and the changes that are ongoing we are going in the right way. I am happy it's now over and we get a bit of a break because this weekend was really exhausting.
(18 - Katsuta Takamoto / Johnston Aaron): My first podium in Europe and I didn't expect it in Finland! I am very happy, thank you for all the support - especially my family. Morizo-san, Akio-san is here this weekend and it's been very special for me because he has been supporting me since the beginning.
(3 - Suninen Teemu / Markkula Mikko): The result itself is quite good but we were a bit slow when we were facing rain and slippy conditions. A bit disappointed but we just have to prepare well for the next rallies and come back as a better driver. I am really looking forward for the future.
(97 - Latvala Jari-Matti / Hänninen Juho): It's been amazing fun, thanks to Toyota for giving me this great opportunity. This stage was exactly what we wanted, it was a clean run with no mistakes. Even Juho said that I surprised him on this stage so if we can get one point it will be perfect.
(7 - Loubet Pierre-Louis / Gilsoul Nicolas): We tried to do our best, you never know - if somebody misses a junction or something, we might get a point. We lost power, since yesterday we had a small issue and it's grown.
(21 - Solberg Oliver / Edmondson Elliott): It was a little bit of a mistake to not score points, but that's life and a win is a win. Finland has not been great in the past so to finally do a good result against the locals at this level of speed is fantastic.
(27 - Pajari Sami / Mälkönen Enni): It's a really, really nice feeling. Thank you to everyone, it seems to be every rally I say this to everyone but I am so pleased and grateful to be here. It's a really nice feeling and this belongs to many people who are helping us.
(26 - Fourmaux Adrien / Coria Alexandre): I have to say that the team has been working really well. We had a good result here and we had no issues at all on the car. It wasn't in the plan to be finishing on the podium here and it's a good result for everybody. Fighting with the Finnish drivers here is quite special.
(25 - Gryazin Nikolay / Aleksandrov Konstantin): I like this one but it was a little bit challenging with the ruts. I am not sure we will take the stage win but I was trying.
(30 - Heikkilä Mikko / Vaaleri Samu): It was the seventh rally in a row which has been a disaster for us. We basically didn't have so much to do on this rally, we could not fight for the top places. It was more like driving through.
(34 - Linnamäe Georg / Morgan James): I couldn't really get the car very well sorted for this stage. Struggled a lot in both passes but at least we are through safely. It's good to have a rally without drama for a change.
(29 - Joona Lauri / Shemeikka Tuukka): Of course, I have enjoyed it a lot. The stages are really nice and it was a good rally for us.
Starting order: Joona, Linnamäe, Mikkelsen, Heikkilä, Gryazin, Fourmaux, Pajari, Solberg, Loubet, Latvala, Suninen, Katsuta, Neuville, Evans |
