INFORMATION ABOUT SS 9 | |
(47 - Palma Lucas / Braun Augusto): retired in SS 9
(39 - Rossi Ghjuvanni / Sarmezan Kylian): We did a good morning, not good feeling in the first, lots of mud on the second, this was nice. I don't know the time, we are in Superally, we try to enjoy it and take a lot of pleasure.
(40 - Castro Eduardo / Vallejo Diego): Tricky stage, in the fog I can see nothing. I finish the stage and the other stage I had one puncture, but it's all for the morning, thank you.
(38 - Dominguez Diego / Peñate Rogelio): We know that Eduardo Castro lost around four minutes on the previous stage, last year we had a double puncture on this one so just cruising through and happy to be here.
(44 - Fontana Matteo / Arnaboldi Alessandro): On SS 1 yesterday there was zero grip and we went off and rolled. Fortunately, our mechanics are fantastic and today we are okay to push. This one was crazy with the fog, but we are okay to push.
(37 - Kovacs Eduardo / Mussano Fernando): We don't see too much, we could not accelerate as we could not see in the mountains.
(34 - Rosselot Emilio / Cañete Tomás): Hello to the world and Chile especially, really happy and very tough. We're gonna see what we're gonna do in the afternoon.
(30 - Heller Alberto / Allende Luis): We start the day really well, but I saved too much tyres. I had good tyres for this one and I don't know what happened. It's okay, we need to continue.
(32 - Heller Pedro / Olmos Pablo): We had troubles in the other stage, rear puncture in the middle of the stage and we continue, because of that we lost brake pads on the rear. We came in this one and I was losing the brakes all the time. I lost the confidence in this stage and the other one too. Disappointed, but we got a lot of rally.
(29 - Martínez Jorge / Álvarez Alberto): Not an easy stage, lots of fog from the beginning. Very big battle in the championship, very big battle in the race, we are having fun.
(27 - Zaldivar Fabrizio / Der Ohannesian Marcelo): Halfway through the stage the intercom was not working, we swapped to the spare and that was not working so we did most of the stage without the intercom. Without intercom and with fog, it is very tricky.
(26 - Kajetanowicz Kajetan / Szczepaniak Maciej): Not perfect to be honest, it's raining almost all stage. OK, the last part is dry but the rest of the stage is damp. We've seen a video before and it wasn't like that.
(24 - Solans Jan / Sanjuán Rodrigo): We were sliding like hell, in every corner. We have no tyres left. The feeling was very strange with no grip at all. You never know.
(25 - Greensmith Gus / Andersson Jonas): We drove with hazards when we switched the screen on, it was done by accident. I think I could've taken more risk, but it's not good enough.
(21 - Rossel Yohan / Barral Florian): Very challenging stages! Only fog. I think it is the same for everybody, I don't take maximum risks. It's like that, I think.
(20 - Solberg Oliver / Edmondson Elliott): I was too careful in the beginning, much more damp than I thought. I was too careful with the tyres. I think some softs would be nice. I have not the feeling to push, I don't want to mess it up basically.
(23 - Gryazin Nikolay / Aleksandrov Konstantin): Suffering! Especially this one, I am losing the rear a lot so I cannot accelerate. Let's see for the second loop, we'll try something for this road. Even with the fog, you cannot see the road. Even when you have straight line, you cannot see the road.
(33 - Evans Elfyn / Martin Scott): Bit of a surprise, damp, very near to the start. I just said to Scott 'I'm not sure what that's like', but when you're in these conditions, you're in it. Let's see for the afternoon.
(8 - Tänak Ott / Järveoja Martin): It was low grip, tyre management was not necessary. It's okay, it's normal.
(69 - Rovanperä Kalle / Halttunen Jonne): I don't know how the conditions was before us but for us it was raining throughout the whole stage and with these tyres it is not easiest. I tried to push a bit more in the stage but at the end of the stage I lost time. I felt I did a good stage but clearly Elfyn is doing better, with these tyres it is very different.
(5 - Pajari Sami / Mälkönen Enni): More or less the same approach like the other stages, it was so tricky in these conditions, it started raining almost halfway through so the grip was quite low. I didn't want to do anything stupid so it has to be clean.
(13 - Munster Grégoire / Louka Louis): There was a lot of fog almost right from the start, it is really tricky as there are holes in every cut. The rear was very loose, so I wasn't so confident.
(11 - Neuville Thierry / Wydaeghe Martijn): A tough morning for us, we are carrying some serious problems all morning. Luckily we are here now, we are going back to service and fix the car. The wipers were stuck mid stage so I couldn't see anything.
(4 - Lappi Esapekka / Ferm Janne): It makes a big difference without the bumper, when you see some rocks you cannot compete as it is so easy to break the cooling. I cannot find any grip, it is sliding all the time. I don't know what to do.
(16 - Fourmaux Adrien / Coria Alexandre): We have three and three tyre compounds, I think looking at our road position it was a good tyre choice. We'll see on the loop if we can catch somebody, there was a lot of fog in the stage. It's not so bad balance wise, we drive a lot on the stones, so it is okay.
(22 - Sesks Mārtiņš / Francis Renārs): Not disappointed, a big learning curve. Of course yesterday was a big disappointment. Every time you get an opportunity you want to prove something. This one was really slippery, especially the downhill. I didn't want to overheat the tyres. |
