(27 - Neubauer Hermann / Ettel Bernhard): We started quite slow, we've sped up a little bit. We are quite far from the limit. For me, it's quite hard after seven years away from the European Rally Championship and the guys at the front are pushing like hell. But we'll see for tomorrow.
(22 - Palomo Óscar / Fernandez Sergio): In the afternoon I went better than the morning, I look forward to tomorrow.
(14 - Sesks Mārtiņš / Francis Renārs): It's been a very long day, not so easy finding the rhythm and so on. Cannot say anything bad, cannot say anything good.
(11 - László Martin / Bán Viktor): I am happy, this is the first time with the car in asphalt. I'm building my confidence step by step and being faster every kilometre. Let's see the time and we look forward to tomorrow.
(1 - Paddon Hayden / Kennard John): This morning I was struggling and couldn't get any rhythm, but thanks to the changes the guys in the team made I've got more rhythm this afternoon. This confidence helps for tomorrow.
(2 - Llarena Efrén / Fernandez Sara): I think we are doing a really good job. We are doing our best, we have no other way to do it. It isn't what we expect but it is OK.
(8 - Armstrong Jon / Treacy Eoin): It's been a good day, I tried to have a good rhythm in there but everything is getting really hot so it is more about managing tyres and managing brakes. But it's been a fantastic day and we'll see if we can carry it on tomorrow.
(15 - Østberg Mads / Barth Patrik): Obviously that's not good, what can we do?
(10 - Mareš Filip / Bucha Radovan): The afternoon section is promising for us because the feeling is getting better with evgery kilometre. Still a long way to go to catch the pace of the fastest car but we are here and we can focus on tomorrow.
(17 - Lukyanuk Alexey / Kulikov Yuriy): Yeah we're exploring, the beginning of the loop was the wrong direction, now I hope it is better. I'm playing with the setup to see how it reacts. It could compromise performance but we have to know it.
(20 - Cachon Alejandro / Rozada Borja): In some place I thought I had puncture, but good luck, no? I'm trying to push hard to recover what I lost in the first stage.
(9 - Wagner Simon / Winter Gerald): This was quite okay. Had some issues in the morning but everything is solved, looking forward to tomorrow as tomorrow's stages should suit us better but we'll see.
(6 - Marczyk Miko / Gospodarczyk Szymon): It was better, I am doing my best. Last stage was not in the pace we would like, this one I was trying to be good. It's Canarias, you have to think about the temperature of the tyres and the temperature of the brakes.
(5 - Cais Erik / Bacigál Igor): Quite slippery! The car was very well prepared, thanks to my team. Our pace today was quite stable, I'm happy with that. I know now we're not able to push for the victory so we have to find out why and how we make it and be better prepared for tomorrow.
(7 - Mabellini Andrea / Lenzi Virginia): I improved a bit, especially in this one. We are going in the right direction and tomorrow is another day. I hope we can go in the right direction, because this is not what we want.
(18 - Suárez José António / Iglesias Alberto): I am really happy because now I've learnt to manage the brakes and the tyres. Today was okay, the stages, organisers and everything is really fine. It's a big day tomorrow!
(3 - Franceschi Mathieu / Malfoy Andy): It was a big stage, difficult because the grip changed every time. Big day and big performance today, thanks to my team because the car was incredible and I hope for the same tomorrow.
(19 - Ruiloba Diego / Vela Ángel Luis): This stage is very difficult to understand the grip. The first day is finished, nothing is perfect. We need to focus on tomorrow.
(16 - Bonato Yoann / Boulloud Benjamin): Very happy with the afternoon, the car is perfect, the tyres work well. This afternoon was higher in temperature and the tyres work well. We'll continue tomorrow like this. The fight is on, we have to push very hard, so it's fun.
