Information de la ES SHAKEDOWN
Runs of drivers codriven by VIP: Tänak (1:35.3), Neuville (1:39.5), Katsuta (1:43.6), Sesks (1:35.1), Evans (1:43.5), Rovanperä (1:35.7), Munster (1:41.1), Fourmaux (1:42.7)
(25 - McErlean Joshua / Fulton James): It was pretty okay, good to get back into after Poland. Another high speed weekend, so looking forward to it. In WRC everyone is on top of their game and commit to the pace notes, so it'll be tough.
(24 - Greensmith Gus / Andersson Jonas): Just need to get back into the rhythm of things, no testing so just used shakedown to get used to the car. Have some fun and see how it goes. I think we had a lot of things that went wrong in Poland, so let's just see how it goes.
(23 - Gryazin Nikolay / Mālnieks Andris): Feeling is okay, I feel the car quite fine. Just need to find the grip during the event, this is the only way.
(20 - Solberg Oliver / Edmondson Elliott): It is great to be here, it is my second home of rallying. It is a nice feeling to come back where I have so many great memories in the past. We will give it everything. It's a proper fight, lot of different competition and lot of cars, so we need to fight harder and push harder and see how it goes.
(21 - Pajari Sami / Mälkönen Enni): The stages are quite similar to Poland, the car is really nice. We should be really good, it was quite slippery on the shakedown but the rally is really long and I am really looking forward to it so I'm fine. Experience can make a difference, but I have some experience and idea of how to drive on the Baltic stages so should be fine.
(22 - Sesks Mārtiņš / Francis Renārs): It will be fantastic of course, just safely through, everything is fine! We still need to understand how the hybrid works, so I think it will be a challenge for us.
(13 - Munster Grégoire / Louka Louis): It is difficult to know, there was a couple of corners where we could not have been much faster, the grip is quite high so just not fast enough. The thing here is with the anti-cut devices, you need to be really careful not to touch one, so try to have a good feeling with the car.
(4 - Lappi Esapekka / Ferm Janne): It's cool, very cool! When it is really fast and very flat, rally should be like this always! I don't think so experience will matter. For me when I was here it was winter, for Kalle, he was so young he doesn't remember. Let's try and drive, have some nice stage end comments and see where we are on Sunday!
(18 - Katsuta Takamoto / Johnston Aaron): Going to be very fast stages, need to be committed and trust the pace notes. I try to enjoy and push, for sure it will be good fun. New stages for everybody, many drama can happen! Trust the pace notes and it will be okay.
(69 - Rovanperä Kalle / Halttunen Jonne): It has been eight years since I was here last, I don't remember anything to be honest. It feels like coming to a familiar and home event but I don't remember anything so it won't be able to help me this time. It's not so hectic [as Poland] so for sure it is a bit more enjoyable.
(16 - Fourmaux Adrien / Coria Alexandre): We're going to try to do our best and get a podium for sure, it's a brand new rally for most of the drivers so it will be interesting. The feeling is alright, we just need to get back to this speed after the recce.
(17 - Ogier Sébastien / Landais Vincent): I'm okay, back to normal and that's the reason we are back in the car. Very fast, we have to get back up to speed with the fast rallies. Always good to come to a new place, new roads and we have to have good confidence because it is extremely fast!
(8 - Tänak Ott / Järveoja Martin): Estonia, Poland, Latvia - it's all the same. Characteristic is similar; how it will work out we will find out.
(33 - Evans Elfyn / Martin Scott): Pretty fast in a lot of these anti-cutting poles, a lot missing in shakedown so I'm not sure that bodes well for the rest of the rally, but we'll see. The road is maybe not so natural in the flow, but it's the same for everyone.
(11 - Neuville Thierry / Wydaeghe Martijn): We immediately found the limit, so now we know. The grip is changing quite a lot, there is some anticuts missing. It was disturbing. It's going to be tough for us that's for sure, we're going to try our best. In these conditions, it won't be easy.
(11 - Neuville Thierry / Wydaeghe Martijn): was in the ditch |
