(27 - Domínguez Diego / Peñate Rogelio): Quite happy really. I've never at this pace before. So far we've been miles away, so being able to fight them it's a dream come true. Enjoying every single moment of it! We'll try to push tomorrow.
(26 - Gryazin Nikolay / Aleksandrov Konstantin): I'm not satisfied with the driving, but it's not bad. Some small details. One spin where we lost 10 seconds. Still two days. Luckily no rain, there's some corners that are damp and there's no grip, I can't imagine what it's like in wet conditions here. On this stage, one interesting place, in one slow corner there's a photographers' flash and I couldn't see after that.
(25 - Zaldivar Fabrizio / Der Ohannesian Marcelo): It's not the best day, but we're happy to finish the first day at our WRC home event. We struggled a bit with some issues, but we'll try to fix now and continue tomorrow.
(23 - Virves Robert / Viilo Jakko): Quite an exciting day. New roads, new country, new everything. It's been quite interesting and more challenging than expected. A long way to go, i'm sure it's gonna be a proper challenge. It's still two long days to go.
(21 - Rossel Yohan / Dunand Arnaud): Before the start I expected to fight for the win. We need to keep calm, it's a long day tomorrow. I prefer to be in my position. Today was a good day for the car and the team.
(20 - Solberg Oliver / Edmondson Elliott): Didn't catch enough time back this afternoon. It's okay, been a good day. Unfortunately just had a puncture and that's it. Just have to do the same tomorrow, do the best I can. Gotta wake up fighting tomorrow.
(55 - McErlean Joshua / Treacy Eoin): Such an interesting place in terms of surface. A lot to take in for a first time here. Again, same for everyone. We're in a nice position, at least not opening the road. That's a good step, our s/km is quite close.
(13 - Munster Grégoire / Louka Louis): It's been a horrible day for us. In the fourth corner we had drama. Managed to repair it. It's not what we're here for, but we managed to finish the day. We had some heavy nose landings because of the lost spoiler, so the front tyre was gone as well. Nursing through. Zero aero here, it felt like ice driving.
(5 - Pajari Sami / Salminen Marko): It will be a tricky tomorrow, that's quite obvious I must say. Even more cleaning tomorrow and sunday. We'll do our best and try to take all the learning we can. It was a shame, we lost a bit too much and the position for tomorrow is not the greatest. That's the way it is.
(16 - Fourmaux Adrien / Coria Alexandre): We can be happy with what we've done today, shame about the two punctures. Happening too often with the tyres. Pleased with the day, it's been working for us.
(1 - Neuville Thierry / Wydaeghe Martijn): Challenging day. I'm fighting hard and i'm not getting things aligned to feel comfortable and to go fast. Two delaminated tyres in the last stage as well, that explained why we lost time and went straight. I'm struggling. The feeling isn't right, I need to push too much to be clean and efficient. We need to work out what's faster tomorrow.
(8 - Tänak Ott / Järveoja Martin): Considering the morning which was quite miserable, much better afternoon. Still a lot to play for.
(69 - Rovanperä Kalle / Halttunen Jonne): Position wise the day has been good, but we are not really happy with our performance as we haven't been the fastest crew. Tomorrow the character of the stages change so let's see what we are able to do.
(17 - Ogier Sébastien / Landais Vincent): After misfortunate this morning we can be happy.
(33 - Evans Elfyn / Martin Scott): We're not happy with how the day has gone, we wanted a lot more. We aren't fast enough at the moment, it's as simple as that.
