INFORMATION ABOUT SS 1
flash info (66 - Baudet Lyssia / Sam Caw Freve Léa): I am so happy! The jumps a lot! Amazing! It was just incredible.
flash info (65 - Schönborn Claire / Hain Jara): It was difficult because at the start the intercom stopped working, she was showing me with her fingers where to go! I am happy we are standing at the finish line.
flash info (64 - Kazaz Kerem / Silvestre Corentin): It was very tricky and icy, I just took a step off and cruised through it. Not everyone has a chance to be in Junior WRC, so we are happy.
flash info (63 - Martens Thomas / Freeman Max): It was a cool finish, not the fastest one. We hit a snow bank on the outside. Luckily I could control the slide, but quite a cool finish.
(63 - Martens Thomas / Freeman Max): spun in flying finish
flash info (62 - Nõgene Joosep Ralf / Lesk Aleks): Quite good. Really slippery, very fun but I am still getting used to the Fiesta. Of course it is a good car but I just have to re-program myself from the Renault.
flash info (61 - Charpentier Tristan / Barral Florian): Pretty nice, it is the second rally on snow. We are just starting the season so we don't want to make any mistake. It will come.
flash info (60 - Kelly Eamonn / Mohan Conor): Not bad, it didn't feel great. It was so slippery, sometimes having previous experience can be a hinderance. I am veteran, so hopefully we can be at the top.
flash info (59 - Smart Max / Fair Cameron): It was pretty slippery, I wasn't so tidy but really great to start the rally, get the first stage underway. Let's get into this! Podium is the target? Yes.
flash info (58 - Johansson Mille / Grönvall Johan): It was better than the shakedown, but I was too nervous in the beginning and it didn't let off. I was shaking in the first two corners. It is better now. Hopefully we can build a good rhythm and try to do our best.
flash info (57 - Dominguez Diego / Peñate Rogelio): A lot better than last year, for sure. Very slow for us really, we kept it safe and not make it like last year where we ruined the rally before it even started!
flash info (56 - Gill Taylor / Brkic Daniel): Not too bad, probably not the perfect start but it is not easy to find a rhythm on this stage. Too cold for me!
flash info (54 - Türkkan Ali / Albayrak Oytun): Of course, it is too early to talk about winning championships. This is the most difficult round, we do not have much experience on snow. Target is not to win the rally, but we need points from Sweden and win the others. I don't think I can win yet.
flash info (52 - Royere Eric / Grenier Alexis): It's the first one so we will get faster next time.
flash info (51 - Vassilakis Georgios / Harryman Allan): I am good. Considering the last time I was on this surface was with skis! I think I am better in the car. The atmosphere was fantastic.
flash info (48 - Goto Shotaro / Lindberg Jussi): It was a lot slippier than expected. My car broke on the shakedown. Quite tricky, but I am happy I am here. My rear part was broken.
flash info (50 - Grahn Adam / Bengtsson Maja): It was a little bit slippery, but it was okay.
flash info (47 - Matsushita Takumi / Kelander Pekka): It was a really nice stage, the last part. Some places very slippery. I was surprised.
flash info (49 - Lassila Leevi / Linnaketo Antti): I was a bit too careful, there was super slippery places. The rally really starts tomorrow.
flash info (46 - Vatanen Ville / Ottman Jarno): Stage was pretty smooth, clean drive from us. Little bit too careful.
flash info (45 - Fontana Matteo / Arnaboldi Alessandro): The visibility was not good, it was a very slippery stage. Lots of ice, not easy. The rally starts tomorrow, we are ready.
flash info (44 - Chatillon Mattéo / Cornuau Maxence): Good first stage, clean stage for us. We tried to find the grip. For sure, it is a fun stage.
flash info (43 - Somaschini Rachele / Arena Nicola): It's something that you cannot describe, I love it. Even if you are not that fussed, I am happy so it is important.
flash info (42 - Granados Miguel / Martí Marc): I made a stupid mistake and the car turned off, we had to go backwards and retake the road. First stage! Marc helps me a lot always and he is always doing 90 percent of the job here.
(42 - Granados Miguel / Martí Marc): was out of road
flash info (41 - Soylu Uğur / Güray Şener): I am happy, the result is very excellent. Enjoyed the jump! Very much fun.
flash info (40 - Mauro Alejandro / Pérez Adrián): It is exciting, I am happy to be here for a second time. I am learning new things and it is a lot of fun.
flash info (39 - Kołtun Jarosław / Pleskot Ireneusz): Really bad. Very slippery.
flash info (38 - Ten Brinke Bernhard / Woodburn Tom): It was quite nice, of course it can always be faster but it was slippery conditions. Two times with a little snow bank nudge. Always good to start this way, tomorrow we need to push harder but I think everyone can do that.
flash info (35 - Sołowow Michał / Baran Maciej): It was quite slippery, I am surprised that it was so slippery. Especially on the brakings.
flash info (32 - Yamamoto Yuki / Fulton James): Felt quitre slippery, the braking was okay. You can push on the braking then suddenly there is no grip in the corner and a messy line.
flash info (31 - Kogure Hikaru / Luhtinen Topi): It's quite slippery, at the braking point you have to be very careful, but we are here all good.
flash info (36 - Kohn Filip / Whittock Ross): I was expecting less grip, could've gone better. Some corners are good, but overall, we can push much more for tomorrow.
flash info (30 - Jürgenson Romet / Oja Siim): It was really slippery to be honest, a bit of nerves. It is a new category. Very rusty, I hope it will improve. It is a big difference, chassis movement, suspension travel.
flash info (29 - Reiersen Isak / Gustavsson Stefan): We have so much adrenaline now, it is crazy. Coming into the stadium here, so many people, lights flashing. It is good to be here on the finish, it is so slippery. The real rally starts tomorrow, it is so good to get through.
flash info (28 - Virves Robert / Viilo Jakko): To be fair, much more difficult than expected. I overshot the first junction immediately. Couple of strange moments that I wasn't expecting for sure. Looking at the road I was expecting much steadier and better grip I must say.
flash info (27 - Zaldivar Fabrizio / Der Ohannesian Marcelo): It's an easy stage, tomorrow will be much trickier. Today we try and enjoy the nice stages, we always try to drive at night. We will try to keep this pace, try to keep enjoying and have fun.
flash info (26 - Joona Lauri / Vaaleri Samu): I was too careful in the beginning, there were some slippery braking points. There were some good conditions on the stage, we could do it much faster but I didn't want to risk anything.
flash info (25 - Heikkilä Mikko / Temonen Kristian): Definitely not expected, in the beginning it felt I was way too careful on the braking, it was really slippery but this is how it is. Different stages, but needc to be much more aggressive.
flash info (24 - Tidemand Pontus / Eriksen Jørgen): This is a bit different to tomorrow, but I like these stages. We overshot a junction a little bit, we need to focus for tomorrow. It will be a long day. I hope so for a battle with Solberg.
flash info (34 - Kauppinen Tuukka / Virtanen Sebastian): It's a good start. I drive very clean. Not bad.
flash info (23 - Korhonen Roope / Viinikka Anssi): I thought this was pretty good, better than expected but trickier than expected. Atmosphere was nice and big jump, so fun stage.
flash info (21 - Linnamäe Georg / Morgan James): Yellow headlights helps me to see the edge of the road a little bit better and make out some details on the road. Incredibly slippery actually, I was quite surprised.
flash info (20 - Solberg Oliver / Edmondson Elliott): Slippery! Very slippery, few brakings. The rest not too bad. It is difficult to get the rear not to slide everywhere, that is what I'm struggling with. The feeling is okay, let's see for tomorrow.
flash info (9 - Serderidis Jourdan / Miclotte Fréderic): It's minus 10! It's a lot of fun, you don't expect it but it is a lot of fun on snow. Very nice!
flash info (22 - Sesks Mārtiņš / Francis Renārs): We made a mistake in the first junction, I know it felt fine but suddenly it just snapped. Of course we still smile.
flash info (5 - Pajari Sami / Salminen Marko): For me the grip was changing quite a lot, I felt that I was clearly slow, but not so easy to find the flow in there. It's okay. A bit unexpected, but I am happy to do a clean stage for today and do a proper rally tomorrow.
flash info (13 - Munster Grégoire / Louka Louis): I don't manage to find grip, it was the same on the shakedown. We'll see what we can do.
flash info (18 - Katsuta Takamoto / Johnston Aaron): The stage is quite broken. Tomorrow's stage is quite different, hopefully not like this. Didn't feel so good.
flash info (55 - McErlean Joshua / Treacy Eoin): It's good to get through the first one, there is a lot of mess about so it is good to clear that. A bit scrappy in the junctions, but just need to tidy that up for tomorrow, big speed tomorrow. Need to get the apexes correct, there's that many junctions that they all look the same. Our pace notes are correct, just trying to get the angle at the right time.
flash info (1 - Neuville Thierry / Wydaeghe Martijn): Just struggling with the intercom and careful on the braking. Everytime I have been on this stage, I am always on the limit of the braking, but this time was the opposite. We had a small issue with the intercom this morning, we thought we sorted it but it crept up again.
flash info (8 - Tänak Ott / Järveoja Martin): Normally feeling is good in the car, it seems to be working fine as well. The surface is breaking up quite a bit, messy surface. Still, all good for tomorrow.
flash info (69 - Rovanperä Kalle / Halttunen Jonne): Road position should be pretty okay, it seems when it is like this it can be good to be first on the road because you have the fresh road and no lines anywhere, so it is quite clean. Us having two spare tyres is not as good as five, but it is all good for tomorrow.
flash info (16 - Fourmaux Adrien / Coria Alexandre): Big surprise on one corner, I hit a bump on the snow bank. Nothing major, I just struggled to get the pace at the beginning, but it is positive for tomorrow.
flash info (33 - Evans Elfyn / Martin Scott): Really okay, braking points are difficult in the dark like this. Bit difficult to judge but all okay.
