INFORMATION ABOUT SS 16
(34 - Kauppinen Tuukka / Virtanen Sebastian): was out of road
(21 - Linnamäe Georg / Morgan James): was out of road
(40 - Mauro Alejandro / Pérez Adrián): was out of road
flash info (55 - McErlean Joshua / Treacy Eoin): We ran wide in a fast four right, got sucked into a snow bank and got beached. It was a big job to get the car out of the snow bank, thanks to all the spectators who got her out of there.
flash info (23 - Korhonen Roope / Viinikka Anssi): This was a fun stage, some places were quite slippery. There was loose snow on the road.
flash info (20 - Solberg Oliver / Edmondson Elliott): I had to follow the times, Katsuta is fighting hard and doing very well! Clean stage, nothing special.
flash info (33 - Evans Elfyn / Martin Scott): No real issue, just struggling for confidence at the front end and then not carrying the speed. Not sure why it is feeling so different today but let's see.
flash info (18 - Katsuta Takamoto / Johnston Aaron): That's good, I was very clean. A few places are quite slippery, more than expected. Still I can push but maybe I don't need to.
flash info (1 - Neuville Thierry / Wydaeghe Martijn): I didn't have a good run to be honest, I am understeering all the way. I cannot do more at the moment. When I know the road, I can predict and engage before but when you discover it, it is not possible. It is a struggle all weekend, yesterday the grip was higher but in this condition, it is harder.
flash info (8 - Tänak Ott / Järveoja Martin): We could run the map we wanted today, so it is working much more normally. Unfortunately, we couldn't do it yesterday.
flash info (69 - Rovanperä Kalle / Halttunen Jonne): We had to scoop quite a lot of of snow. It's a really nice stage, I think at least the last part should clean quite a lot. I really tried to push, it was faster from me. But it is cleaning. We tried everything we had.
flash info (22 - Sesks Mārtiņš / Francis Renārs): In the morning we had a handbrake problem. My handbrake is not working with all four wheels. I almost stalled two times, we were cautious and then we saw McErlean. We were alarmed, so I backed off. It is good to see McErlean and Treacy are both safe, just stuck deep in a snow bank, really sorry for them. It is speculation, but of course I would have more feeling and confidence but it is not that bad without handbrake, you just need to be more precise.
flash info (5 - Pajari Sami / Salminen Marko): We saw McErlean out, so we slowed down to make sure it is fine. Otherwise, really smooth run. I was thinking if I should push at some point but just tried to be clean and efficient. I guess it is always like this.
flash info (13 - Munster Grégoire / Louka Louis): Really nice stage with a bit of everything, bit fast and quite narrow in the beginning. It gets way faster at a T-right junction. The end is a bit slippery, lots of loose snow so really slippery for the last 4km.
flash info (9 - Serderidis Jourdan / Miclotte Fréderic): For a start, second on the road, I think the grip was not so bad. I don't know what Fourmaux said. Clean stage, very nice. Fast as usual.
(55 - McErlean Joshua / Treacy Eoin): was out of road
flash info (16 - Fourmaux Adrien / Coria Alexandre): There is not much I can do now with the road position, there is a lot of sweeping today. There is a lot of fresh snow on top of the ice, the conditions are bad. I had a good stage, it was good fun to drive. We'll see for the Power Stage but the Sunday is going to be hard. Neuville and Tänak should try things and have fun.
