INFORMATION ABOUT SS 7
flash info (11 - Neuville Thierry / Wydaeghe Martijn): Basically I came into a compression slightly too fast and I got kicked out of the line and we ended up in a roll. Luckily me and Martijn are fine. We had tried to push this morning to claim back the positions, that was our target and there was nothing to lose. We went for it but obviously we were a little bit too fast. We need to evaluate if there is any reason to restart [on Sunday]. We have to see how much the damage is and I think the main thing is to do a reset and focus on Sardinia.
retired (67 - Asencio Francisco / Bascur Alan): retired in SS 7
(53 - Membrado Gil / Pérez Adrián): rolled
(20 - Virves Robert / Viilo Jakko): puncture
retired (22 - Gryazin Nikolay / Aleksandrov Konstantin): accident in SS 7
flash info (99 - Solberg Oliver / Edmondson Elliott): Horrible feeling. I have no grip compared to yesterday. It is much more loose than yesterday. I have no grip. It was really tricky. I tried to be careful on the tyres.
flash info (33 - Evans Elfyn / Martin Scott): It was tricky. It was much more low grip than I expected. I had new tyres I guess.
flash info (16 - Fourmaux Adrien / Coria Alexandre): There are some very slippery corners the beginning. The last part was very abrasive for tyres. I tried to be a bit smart. It is quite ok. A good stage for me. Five new tyres.
flash info (1 - Ogier Sébastien / Landais Vincent): It was very loose at the end. It was a clean drive.
flash info (5 - Pajari Sami / Salminen Marko): That is quite a lot that Ogier is 6.0sec faster, I don't know. It was quite slippy. The first section was quite damp. It was tricky to manage as we now it is tough loop for tyres. It is mixture of worn and new tyres.
flash info (55 - McErlean Joshua / Treacy Eoin): I don't know what happened. I don't know if there was sharp bedrock in the line but it was the outside of the corner that did the damage. We kept the tyre intact at least.
retired (11 - Neuville Thierry / Wydaeghe Martijn): accident in SS 7
flash info (95 - Armstrong Jon / Byrne Shane): I enjoyed the driving and that is all you can ask for. I know it is going to clean. We had a mixed package with the hards and some corners we had some extra slip. They were new tyres.
(55 - McErlean Joshua / Treacy Eoin): puncture
flash info (4 - Lappi Esapekka / Mälkönen Enni): It is fine. Beautiful weather and today has nice stages. There are bit more open areas and lot of downhills and hairpins. I need to be patient when opening the throttle.
flash info (18 - Katsuta Takamoto / Fulton James): I'm just trying to get back to normal shape. That is the target for today. Sorry to the team for yesterday.
The sun is out right now and the road surface is much drier compared to yesterday.
