INFORMATION ABOUT SS 9
(38 - Bieńko Tadeusz / Poradzisz Michał): accident in SS 9
(1 - Suninen Teemu / Haapala Antti): I didn't have perfect notes. It was quite busy with the road checks, with the public roads, and was not good. But hopefully my skill was taking it back. We need to go flat out. No other options. Level is high, everyone is pushing. Everyone knows the roads, so no option.
(3 - Mabellini Andrea / Lenzi Virginia): It was a disaster. We start with cold tyres. We wait more at the beginning because Tempestini must pass because he was stopped up there by the police. We made all the road section to the stage at 30 kilometers per hour. We started with cold brakes and everything. So everything could go wrong, went wrong.
(5 - Tempestini Simone / Maior Francesca): We were stopped by police on road section. Somebody made them angry before us. Its like it is.
(8 - Matulka Jakub / Dymurski Daniel): I was trying to watch some onboards yesterday and try to improve the pace, you know, and of course, the confidence going to the stages. This was not easy. It was hard to do a proper recce. But okay, few places that I was too careful with the brakings and there were time to be faster.
(2 - Marczyk Miko / Gospodarczyk Szymon): Really different stage than all others. I would say much more natural corners. It was necessary to be brave,. In some places I struggled a little bit. The grip was a little bit higher than I expected. And not bad run, but two, three seconds was possible to get.
(14 - Kajetanowicz Kajetan / Szczepaniak Maciej): No, good pace note in the traffic. This is the challenge. But it's same for everybody. Okay, sometimes it's a lottery with the traffic on this kind of road. It's not the main road, but popular, the famous road. So I was, in some places, I was optimistic with my pace notes, and sometimes too slow.
(17 - Szeja Jarosław / Szeja Marcin): Wow we have a big spin on fifth gear, so it was, I don't know, 150kph, and we made a spin, so I'm glad to be here. Now we have more six stages, and we will be fighting.
(7 - Bulacia Marco / Murado José): It's a bit complicated because it is a different stage profile, completely different stage profile compared to the entire rally. So, this is more like Sierra Morena, more wide and circuit-style stage. But now we need to focus because we are coming back to new Rally Poland in the next stage.
(17 - Szeja Jarosław / Szeja Marcin): spun
(6 - Creighton William / Regan Liam): We just need to try and find a good rhythm, try and get a good pace, see if we can get any positions, but everybody's gonna have the same mentality. It was a tricky stage in underneath the trees and the sunlight coming through, just hard to pick up where the apex of the corner is and I'm sure everybody's saying how difficult the recce was, but we had a clean run.
(18 - Rzeźnik Adrian / Kozdroń Kamil): It was okay, so nice, but one corner for me, I expected that this corner was faster, so I lost like three seconds, four seconds because we had a big slide, so I don't like this wide stage, but yeah, it's all.
(11 - Cais Erik / Bacigál Igor): Definitely I'm happy because this is not a stage for me. The clean, really fast circuit racing, it's something what I'm missing here. But anyway, it was a good stage. There are much more cuts than I expected, to be honest, on a stage like this. But, yeah, beautiful stages are ahead of us. We have to keep focused because they know the stages well. It's the same as 2024. So, we have to push.
(22 - Német Gábor / Németh Gergely): The stage was clear, so that's good. Just something strange, maybe pop off valve or something.
(15 - Allen Philip / Drew Craig): The notes were a bit rubbish in there, to be fair. The recce was quite difficult with the traffic. It's the same for everyone. It was okay. I'd say you could lose six or seven seconds in there.
(4 - Reiersen Isak / Gustafsson Stefan): We stay on the same setup, mostly the same. I had a good feeling, just continue on that. There's some nice stages coming up later on, so just try to enjoy that and get the experience I got yesterday. This stage was really hard. Didn't really get the race line on the recce, so yeah, it was a little bit hard with pace notes because of the traffic, but we are through.
