INFORMATION ABOUT SS 16
retired (35 - Caldwell Cian / McPhillips Paul): accident in SS 16
retired (25 - Hallberg Patrik / Stigh John): double puncture after SS 16
retired (23 - Vaher Jaspar / Jansen Rait): retired after SS 16
flash info (22 - Heikkilä Mikko / Temonen Kristian): We have been trying to get this for quite a long time. It's quite a nice feeling, you know, [it's been] quite a long weekend, fighting like anything to get any tenths of a second, and competing hard all the time. And the result is this. Actually, this was the target, and I can be really happy now.
flash info (3 - Sesks Mārtiņš / Francis Renārs): Being back here in ERC where we started from, Team MRF Tyres, our SRT squad is always wonderful here and, you know, it's a pure joy to come back here.
flash info (11 - Reiersen Isak / Gustavsson Stefan): What a week. The pace has been so high in every stage. Once you lose a little bit of feeling, your seconds just run away. The car has been working perfect.
flash info (14 - Carlberg Calle / Eriksen Jørgen): I just tried to play some games. It's so nice, you know. The last months have been so tricky for me. Really difficult with struggling with what has happened in rallying. Also at home trying to find a budget. I've been suffering from some chest pains, overworking. I have to say thank you to everybody who made this possible.
flash info (25 - Hallberg Patrik / Stigh John): Just by the end again, I'm so disappointed. We are out of tyres, it is the end for us.
flash info (10 - Tempestini Simone / Maior Francesca): I want to thank MRF for the possibility to be at the start of this event. I've been in places, let's say, it's not good to say fast, but almost fast in places. I've been smart. It was a good rally for us and we enjoyed a lot.
flash info (20 - Brynildsen Eyvind / Fredriksson Anders): I mean, it's been a tough and long rally. It's crazy how much 6K on the qualifying destroyed the whole weekend. 18 to 7 on the day, it's not too bad. I have to say thank you to MRF and Vivek, who is still trusting the old boy. SRT as well, and all my friends and my sponsors.
flash info (2 - Marczyk Miko / Dymurski Daniel): It's good for us after the first round, Sierra Morena, which was really tough, that we are on the finish line. For sure, the pace of driving was not like we expected, but we also know that always this is the hardest rally for our package. But I'm trying to fight every time, and before this weekend, I was thinking that we can fight for the higher position. It's good that we are on the finish line. I'm not fully happy with my performance, but the basics were done to fight more on the tarmac rallies. The confidence is getting higher. I was trying to keep the speed till the end, but it will be too slow here one more time. But okay, now it's time for the tarmac and it's necessary to be at a much better pace and confidence on the tarmac events.
flash info (30 - Semenuk Brandon / Williams Keaton): My expectations for my driving, not so good. I know I could do a lot better than this, but again, it's been very little time in the car in the last year or so. I should be, you know, fairly happy about my week. I enjoyed it so much. The roads are amazing. All the Swedish people are awesome. ERC is a really cool championship. I'd love to do it again. Yeah, so all in all, good experience. Maybe a bit frustrated about my driving, but we can improve on things and come back and hopefully have a better show.
flash info (4 - Zaldivar Fabrizio / Der Ohannesian Marcelo): Well, the performance was not what we expected, but actually we know what's the issue, why we are not in the place we came here to be. But okay, we enjoyed it a lot. You know, the stages are really fun to drive, really fast. I really enjoy these type of rallies. So yeah, just a good feeling and good learning also for Estonia - that will be our next WRC event.
flash info (27 - Nõgene Joosep Ralf / Lesk Aleks): Well, I'm actually feeling really happy, all things considered. I mean, I think our pace was a lot better than we expected. It's, of course, it's a shame for what happened yesterday in the service [with a penalty for late check out], but I mean, that's also a part of rallying and it's a team sport, so yeah, no hard feelings for that.
flash info (23 - Vaher Jaspar / Jansen Rait): Our performance was definitely much better than we expected, and I think we gave quite a good fight for the first place. But yeah, you know, we were quite on the limit today and just made a really minor mistake, but the consequences were quite big. I would just like to say a big thank you to the whole Red Grey team. After this damage that we had, they did an incredible job to get this car back out here running, and it's perfect. So big thank you to you and also everyone who supported us this weekend and watching the live TV and coming here to spectate. It's really means a lot to me, so a big thank you.
flash info (8 - Kauppinen Tuukka / Luhtinen Topi): Two long days are done. It's not so easy. We tried to, we planned this weekend to be on the podium, but it is so, so difficult because the car, it's not perfect yet, but all the time it's better and now the car will be good. But yeah, this stage we pushed too hard and we spun on one corner, but yeah, it's good ending this rally.
flash info (37 - Vatanen Ville / Ojala Joonas): The feeling is unbelievable. After Spain, my target here was the win, and we made it, so it's really amazing.
flash info (40 - Rahill Craig / Smith Conor): It's really cool to be opening the Power Stage here in Sweden, and yeah, it's been a great weekend. You know, we came with a goal here this weekend just to build mileage and experience on these fast, crazy stages. And yeah, we got closer and closer to Ville right through the weekend, and so happy and, you know, I'm so grateful to be able to get so much seat time in this car in the last two months. You know, I've nearly been in the car every weekend, and that's just a huge thanks to the Academy and all my sponsors. And, yeah, just fair play to Ville. He drove a storm on this rally, and, you know, we'll not leave it that handy from now in Rome when we get to the tarmac.
Starting order: Rahill, Vatanen, Kauppinen, Vaher, Nögene, Zaldivar, Semenuk, Marczyk, Brynildsen, Tempestini, Hallberg, Carlberg, Reiersen, Sesks, Heikkilä
