INFORMATION ABOUT SS 5
retired (57 - Christoffersen Lisa / Mwangi Christabel): retired after SS 5
retired (31 - Lafarja Andrea / Maune Germán): retired after SS 5
flash info (23 - Zaldivar Fabrizio / Der Ohannesian Marcelo): To be honest the feeling in the car was not so great, the same as the first one. I'm struggling with the power of the car, l'm not sure if this is normal or the engine suffered bit yesterday. Compared t last year I feel like I'm driving quite slow.
flash info (22 - Mikkelsen Andreas / Listerud Jørn): These tyres are strange they go off very quickly on the rear and you think you have a puncture so I slowed down until I realised I didn't have a puncture. I'm just missing the experience with the tyres.
flash info (21 - Virves Robert / Viilo Jakko): The condition was not too bad but there were a lot of loose rocks in fast places. So far this is the smoothest stage. It has been interesting let's say.
flash info (20 - Greensmith Gus / Andersson Jonas): We didn't have the alarm but the engine has been very flat and up the hill I can barely get into fifth gear in places.
flash info (55 - McErlean Joshua / Treacy Eoin): It is still the same thing. We are losing power which isn't so good.
flash info (95 - Armstrong Jon / Byrne Shane): That is not so bad. We had a pretty good run so I can't complain about that. It is tricky to manage everything, I still have a small intercom issue that is crackling a bit.
flash info (4 - Lappi Esapekka / Mälkönen Enni): It was ok. There was some cows at the beginning that I needed to avoid so I maybe lost one or two seconds. I think I have too much locking on the differential and we cannot change that.
flash info (5 - Pajari Sami / Salminen Marko): I tried to have quite a big push in this stage. I had some small moment at the end and at least the car is driving straight.
flash info (1 - Ogier Sébastien / Landais Vincent): It has been good. It is cleaning a bit in there and it is not about taking the risk in the rocky section. Ok stage from us.
flash info (11 - Neuville Thierry / Wydaeghe Martijn): We had a rear left puncture but I don't think it cost us too much time. It feels very slow there is no power and compared to previous years it is much worse. It is a different kind of driving style and somehow have to use the engine differently. I'm really struggling. Kenya is a nice rally and I want to enjoy and not complain too much.
(11 - Neuville Thierry / Wydaeghe Martijn): puncture
flash info (16 - Fourmaux Adrien / Coria Alexandre): The dry stages are much more like normal stages for now. There was loose rocks so I was slowing down in places. But it is ok. Two clean stages and we are on the right pace for now.
flash info (18 - Katsuta Takamoto / Johnston Aaron): I was taking care of the tyres and I wasn't sure if I got a puncture or not. There were animals crossing a lot so I had to slow down on the straights.
flash info (99 - Solberg Oliver / Edmondson Elliott): There was a lot of loose rocks in there and I was too careful. I didn't want to get a puncture or anything. The next one is very tricky so I wanted to protect my tyres, This one is cleaning like crazy. Not the best morning.
flash info (33 - Evans Elfyn / Martin Scott): I felt like I was going nowhere a very loose stage. It is very difficult to judge the conditions, that is how it is.
Stage is mostly dry.
