INFORMATION ABOUT SS 7
flash info (55 - McErlean Joshua / Treacy Eoin): I think it was on a braking zone after the famous jump and there was a hard hit on the rut and I think it has burst the tyre as well as the sump guard. We have an oil leak front the gearbox, so that is us done for today. This morning was very difficult with obviously the overheating problem from last night. I thought the tables were turning but now something else happens. It is quite hard to take. Hopefully we get back out tomorrow.
(25 - Domínguez Diego / Peñate Rogelio): puncture
retired (55 - McErlean Joshua / Treacy Eoin): technical problem - gearbox after SS 7
(22 - Mikkelsen Andreas / Listerud Jørn): puncture
flash info (21 - Virves Robert / Viilo Jakko): It was actually quite enjoyable, I was working mostly with my eyes just looking for the stones. It was a good run. You just have to go and hope the rocks are not in a bad place.
flash info (20 - Greensmith Gus / Andersson Jonas): We had two punctures in here in the first pass if we got two puncture like Taka it makes the afternoon very difficult. I was not risking it in this one.
flash info (55 - McErlean Joshua / Treacy Eoin): It was super rough. I would say it probably happened on a braking zone if anywhere. We probably should have stopped to change it but it is so hard to judge how rough it is.
flash info (95 - Armstrong Jon / Byrne Shane): It's quite different in terms of how rough it is. A lot of rocks, not much we can really do about that. Trying not to hit those rocks. We're learning with every kilometre and are happy with what we are doing.
(55 - McErlean Joshua / Treacy Eoin): puncture
flash info (4 - Lappi Esapekka / Mälkönen Enni): It is junctions and straights, it is not about the handling of the car here. We will see if the car is better or not later on. I do believe we have made a small step better.
flash info (5 - Pajari Sami / Salminen Marko): I got some information about the puncture just before the start. I really think it doesn't make such a big difference if you push or try to back off slightly, the speed is so high when you hit the rocks. I tried to be a bit clever.
flash info (1 - Ogier Sébastien / Landais Vincent): I hate this stage. To be honest you are praying the tyre survives. Not fun at all. Sorry for Taka.
flash info (11 - Neuville Thierry / Wydaeghe Martijn): I don't know the road is very destroyed but there are some lines so you can keep the car in the lines and increase the grip and drivability. Driving on top of the road is still where we struggle. I had to avoid a couple of big rocks in here. There was one I couldn't avoid and I thought we had a puncture but luckily we didn't.
flash info (16 - Fourmaux Adrien / Coria Alexandre): The feeling is ok. Actually I get more confidence in the car and I'm enjoying when it is dry. I had a good stage and I could do more in some places.
flash info (18 - Katsuta Takamoto / Johnston Aaron): The left I have absolutely no idea and the right maybe it was a small impact but I don't think it is enough to get a puncture. We knew this could happen at this rally. It is ok.
flash info (99 - Solberg Oliver / Edmondson Elliott): It was very right at the beginning and I tried to be careful. It was cleaner towards the end. the guys behind have a lot of experience with this car and in these conditions, and it is first time for me so I'm trying to manage. If my lead gets cut down it get cut down, you can only do your best and I want to play it safe to be honest.
(18 - Katsuta Takamoto / Johnston Aaron): puncture
flash info (33 - Evans Elfyn / Martin Scott): It is pretty tough.
Stage is mostly dry.
