We struggled on the first two with the car on the soft sandy surface – the car doesn’t have the power or torque. Again this afternoon it will be damage limitation and we’ll have a push on the last one. I think it will be like train tracks on the second run with it cutting up – we’ll just have to get in to the wheel ruts and see how it goes.

It hasn’t been too bad and we’ve had our fair share of little problems today. The stage times have been important and we’ve been able to deliver. We don’t want to throw the car away and the motivation is my career – we just need someone to give us a chance.
