There was a branch in the middle of the road and I could not avoid it. It was not what I wanted, it was a very difficult weekend. I really wanted to win the rally. The setup of my car was a bit too stiff and then I make mistakes. But I learned a lot and next year I know.

I tried, I had a good stage upto that point. I wanted to fight. It was very slippy, I thought it would be fine, I stalled the ending on the braking, I tried to turn and restart the engine but we slid backwards into the ditch.

I was really really pushing. The problem is the roads are really polished and you have a lot of understeering and when you attack sometimes you cannot get the car turning.
