Lot of understeer at the front, nearly came off the road a few times. But we're happy. For sure we've had a strong event, but we need to find some consistency.

First 6 kms was so slippery, really messy, bouncing off things. But then the last 15 kms when the road opened up, it was better.

It felt really bad. I was trying to get on the throttle early. The car is working, the times not bad but I was not happy from a driving point of view on this stage.

We had two softs as well. I think it was a durability thing. We need to make a few changes to the car and to the pace notes and try to increase the pace for tomorrow, it has not been where we want it.

Tyre wise it was fine, the road was a little cut up more than I thought it would. It has not been a bad day.

It was good, we put the 4 hards tyres on, really struggled on the first 4 or 5 kilometres. One stage to go we can put the softs back on which are in good knick, a good way to finish the day.

Got 4 hards for the long stage. On the first one I did not like the way the tyres were moving around. No problems, the time is a little bit better than I expected.

We knew the time would not be so good. All morning just can’t get the rhythm. It is just not jelling like it should. Make some small mental changes for this afternoon and just get on with it.

There is some tyre wear but not as much as we expected. We do still have two fresh tyres for this next stage. Hopefully we will have a good next stage. On roads like these we are looking at very small margins.

I prefer these stages than the first one, they are a bit more technical. I am having to send guess my notes a little, just the gears aren’t quite right.

Pacenotes are a little bit on the slow side. Obviously this is a bit of a warm-up. These next two stages we will have a lot more tyre wear than we think and on the long stage, we will need 2 spares.
