I've enjoyed my weekend. It's been good to find the rhythm over a whole weekend. Everybody knows there have been a few mistakes creeping in recently, so I'm very happy. And hats off to the Volkswagens.

I had the advantage of the road position for two days. I had a good stage, I am still trying, but we were living a false reality the last two days, that is the true pace of the Volkswagens.

The tyres haven’t much pattern left. When it is slippery you have to check yourself a bit. We’ll see, I am trying to just drive my rally.

We had a big gamble with the tyres and it looks like it is not a good time, we should be taking a lot more time. Ok, we tried. We need to be taking 15 to 20 seconds off them, so for me it is the wrong tyre choice.

Dust, the dust is hanging. If this was in the dark this would be dangerous. I had a good day. You cannot see the end of the bonnet in 6th gear!

It’s a good rhythm, the stages are nice, The tyre wear is more than we thought, you just can’t push as you would like. I am happy with my morning so far.

t is cleaning a lot, but you have to get into that line, when you are approaching a crest you have to make sure that you are in the line. I was quite comfortable in there, a good rhythm.

A good start, difficult to judge the grip, it is so loose. There is a line appearing, difficult to stay in the line. Not the perfect rhythm.
