Its is quite slippery, surprisingly slippery. We are never going to catch the guys in front on pure speed. From a team prospective and my prospective the most important thing is the points, we have to think of the team at the moment.

It hasn’t been too bad, it was going fine until half way through the long stage, we burnt out the tyres. We have one bald tyre on the car. We are just going to keep the same speed.

We completely lost the tyres with 15 kms to go. We had a gearshift for the last 10 kms, seemed to be selecting gears for itself.

The confidence with the car is much better today. Making the most of the road position, obviously it will be different this afternoon. Maybe overdriving on this one. I am happy now the morning is gone. This afternoon we are going to have to push even harder. Still a long way to go.

The same problem, every right hand corner it does not want to turn, it doesn’t want to go round the corner. Some dust problems but you know it will be the same for everyone so you just have to push on.

The first stage felt good, the second stage felt like we had a puncture all the time, there was no puncture… really strange. The front left is really dipping down. The whole balance of the car is really inconsistent.

This road is a little bit different, it chews up a little bit, not as much advantage on this stage. This is my least favourite stage of the rally. This afternoon we will change the setup and put some new tyres on it and really push. This morning we have just been driving.

Tyre management mode at the moment, can’t push at all. Can’t give it full throttle, it is really not easy at the moment. We have always been on soft tyres in the morning here, these are new stages and they have caught us out a little.
