Particularly rough. It was much worse than the previous stages which came as a bit of a surprise. It looks like we are going to have some decent weather tomorrow.

The front tyres should be good, the rears have had a hard loop. We hope that will help us in the long stage.

I think I am a bit careful in places. I was reasonably smooth but the time is not great. We just have to keep at it and see what we can do.

Not quite as good as the others. A bit scrappy in places. I'm looking forward to the longer stage - it'll be nice to get our teeth into that.

I was a bit steady at the start. It was tricky, quite loose in some places. It’s okay. It is more comfortable, it is not perfect, but it is a step forward from where we were in Australia. It is feeling better

We had a mistake on one of the donut hay bales. I couldn't get the car shifted into first until half way round.
