It's strange that we come from a long time over slippery surfaces and now the ground is really abrasive, with lot more grip.

I was hoping that soft or medium compuonds would last longer because it was cold in the morning, but it didn't happen and that is making my day more difficult.

I was slow because I completely killed the tyres in SS7. Had I ushed harder, I would probably have not made it to the finish.
