06.08.2023 15:08	22	(11 - Neuville Thierry / Wydaeghe Martijn): It's a big relief to be on the podium in Finland again after 10 years of, I would say, a struggle. It shows that together with the team and the changes that are ongoing we are going in the right way. I am happy it's now over and we get a bit of a break because this weekend was really exhausting.
06.08.2023 15:08	21	(11 - Neuville Thierry / Wydaeghe Martijn): The Power Stage recce is done and we just had a clean run through. I am surprised by the time because we had a steady run through. Let's see now what we can do in the Power Stage. It has been a good rally so far so we need to end on a good note. My feeling tells me that there are a few good things still to come.

05.08.2023 18:08	18	(11 - Neuville Thierry / Wydaeghe Martijn): A tricky stage to end the day, I am happy to be here now. It wasn't the day we were hoping for but still it was a good day. We had some speed this morning but it was trickier this afternoon, but anyway the game was over. It's nice to be in this position in Finland, we didn't expect that.
05.08.2023 17:08	17	(11 - Neuville Thierry / Wydaeghe Martijn): I am not pushing, really. I had a very clean run through, I can't do more. We are too far back now. We have to keep going in case something happens but other than this we don't have the power to fight for the victory.

I wasn't happy with the handling at the beginning, I thought we had punctured but at the end it seemed to work. Anything can happen in there, there are some really rough sections.
05.08.2023 15:08	15	(11 - Neuville Thierry / Wydaeghe Martijn): I didn't expect the ruts, to be honest. I just didn't have the ride height for the stage. It's very tricky, the grip is coming and going, coming and going.

05.08.2023 12:08	13	(11 - Neuville Thierry / Wydaeghe Martijn): I had a good stage. To be honest, I am at the maximum of what I can do. I am spinning the wheels up all the time, it's a bit muddy and we just had no traction in there.

05.08.2023 12:08	11	(11 - Neuville Thierry / Wydaeghe Martijn): It's not a surprise. I was fighting with the grip. As soon as I tried a little bit more, I lost the car. I couldn't stay in the line and I did what I could.
04.08.2023 20:08	10	(11 - Neuville Thierry / Wydaeghe Martijn): It was a good stage but on the first hairpin I stuck in second gear and had to push the clutch to get speed. Other than this it was a clean run.
04.08.2023 17:08	9	(11 - Neuville Thierry / Wydaeghe Martijn): Now we have no choice! Obviously Kalle is off, so one of our main contenders is out. Elfyn is one of our main contenders in the championship and we are fighting for the victory. Now we're going to go for it.
04.08.2023 16:08	8	(11 - Neuville Thierry / Wydaeghe Martijn): We got slowed down, I don't know, 800 metres before the crash. People were waving and I was accelerating and stopping when actually the road was free. It is what it is, I did what I could to be honest.
04.08.2023 15:08	7	(11 - Neuville Thierry / Wydaeghe Martijn): I stopped at the yellow sign! I was angry with the wipers and I stopped a bit before the finish. In the fast speed the wipers are not cleaning. I couldn't see anything there.
04.08.2023 15:08	6	(11 - Neuville Thierry / Wydaeghe Martijn): I have no grip. I struggled a lot with the traction and I am losing the car sometimes, I don't know why. Evans and Rovanperä were doing a rally last week in those conditions so they knew exactly what to expect, and I didn't.
04.08.2023 15:08	5	(11 - Neuville Thierry / Wydaeghe Martijn): It is what it is. We tried, we had heavy rain at the start and then it was quite okay for a few kilometres, then at the end it was bad again. And the wipers are really horrible.

I don't know if I am still missing some rear grip - sometimes you lose it and it brings you a bit wide. We need to work on that.

03.08.2023 22:08	1	(11 - Neuville Thierry / Wydaeghe Martijn): We are looking forward. It's a good way to kick it off tonight with such a nice stage in the city centre with lots of spectators. I hope that Jari-Matti is going to enjoy his weekend - we all know how much he loves to drive. It's a great opportunity and I am sure I would be very happy in the future if I got an opportunity like that after retirement.
