31.03.2024 17:03	19	(69 - Rovanperä Kalle / Halttunen Jonne): It's always special, this event is so tough. Legendary event for Toyota, we have always been so good here. Like they say in Africa, the car in front is always a Toyota! We've done a good job, clever driving and many thanks to the team for all their help!
31.03.2024 17:03	17	(69 - Rovanperä Kalle / Halttunen Jonne): The most horrible conditions I've seen anywhere, so I wanted to drive slowly.
31.03.2024 17:03	16	(69 - Rovanperä Kalle / Halttunen Jonne): It hasn't been an easy loop, driving so carefully means you make more mistakes some time. This one was tricky, very soft and lots of loose stones.
31.03.2024 17:03	14	(69 - Rovanperä Kalle / Halttunen Jonne): It's not really nice, this stage is even more rough and rocky from last year. Sneaking through the stage is not a lot of fun!

Not so enjoyable when you have a big lead on a stage like this when you have to go round every single rut. For the whole stage we didn't have the hybrid but its been a tough day so we'll try and finish the job tomorrow.
31.03.2024 01:03	12	(69 - Rovanperä Kalle / Halttunen Jonne): I'm trying to be extra careful, it feels even with low pace there are still a few surprises in what's left. I think the next one will be tricky.
31.03.2024 01:03	11	(69 - Rovanperä Kalle / Halttunen Jonne): It's tricky, quite soft. The most fesh-fesh we have had so far, but I was careful so it's all good.
31.03.2024 01:03	10	(69 - Rovanperä Kalle / Halttunen Jonne): It's situations like this where you can do well by driving clean, this was an incredibly tricky stage. I took care of the tyres and was quite sensible.
31.03.2024 01:03	9	(69 - Rovanperä Kalle / Halttunen Jonne): Quite cautious approach, lots of stones in rough places so we need to be careful with those, not so easy with the big cuts. Sleeping Warrior will be really difficult!
31.03.2024 01:03	8	(69 - Rovanperä Kalle / Halttunen Jonne): Not easy for sure, I tried to be a bit careful, there are so many ruts today. I had a bit of dust so I lost a few sec in there as well.

For sure, on this one the conditions are quite rough, so I think from every car it gets a bit deeper in places. I didn't take any risks and I was going around all the stones to try and keep the car in one piece. I would have loved to go even faster but at this point this is okay.
29.03.2024 22:03	6	(69 - Rovanperä Kalle / Halttunen Jonne): It was tricky. We heard that Ott was out and now I didn't want to do anything crazy. The driving didn't feel so good but it was clean.
29.03.2024 21:03	5	(69 - Rovanperä Kalle / Halttunen Jonne): Slightly better than the morning run. We found something small that we could do with the car, but I am still not happy on this stage. I would like the gap to be a bit bigger but it's okay at this point.
29.03.2024 21:03	4	(69 - Rovanperä Kalle / Halttunen Jonne): This stage has been really nice every year, and now we went in the opposite direction with different pace notes. Even with the new notes, I wanted to commit to it and it was nice. We had a really big push so I'm happy with the time.
29.03.2024 21:03	3	(69 - Rovanperä Kalle / Halttunen Jonne): This one was definitely not so bad. On the fast corners it's not easy on this rally, the setup is not optimal for the fast stages. It's a bit sketchy sometimes, but I like these fast stages and I enjoyed it.
29.03.2024 20:03	2	(69 - Rovanperä Kalle / Halttunen Jonne): I don't want to say any really bad words but it was horrible. The car is understeering so much, I don't understand how we can do any time on this stage. We need to improve.

It was so slippy and there was no line after the smaller cars. This rally is not won on the first stage anyway. It's going to be a challenging week but we will do our best.
