We wanted to try and I think we had a really efficient stage except on a braking point. When the rut is so deep, the tyre cannot enter it so low, so even with the handbrake it is hard to get out. We need to be faster on the opening stage on Friday because it ruined the rest of the weekend, but that's how it is. It's our fault and we learn from it. At least from that one [stage], we did not overshoot a junction or stall the engine. It is better than last year.

The lines are really, really bad so I backed off as there is nothing to play for. We have a trouble-free event so far, not the performance we wanted to show but this is due to our first stage on Friday. We have a clean event and want to save the tyres for the last one.

Really nice stage with a bit of everything, bit fast and quite narrow in the beginning. It gets way faster at a T-right junction. The end is a bit slippery, lots of loose snow so really slippery for the last 4km.
