It is a fantastic relief, amazing. To win it three years in a row with a new car, being on pace and so fast and winning on snow is an incredible feeling. We have been working hard to get the feeling. It is quite a relief, new car and everything. I was quite nervous to see where the performance was, so thanks to the team and the mechanics.

Really tricky conditions in there, when you don't full attack it is difficult to get the flow in the ruts. I tried to drive smooth, will probably lose a lot of time but at least it was clean. Good fight in the WRC.

I had to follow the times, Katsuta is fighting hard and doing very well! Clean stage, nothing special.

So far so good! It has been a tricky day for sure, the stages are a completely different characteristic to yesterday. It is a day of learning. I tried to pace myself today. It has been good fun.

Horrible feeling, a lot of small mistakes everywhere. Really slippery, really difficult. Not too good stage at all.

Little bit more gravel than expected on the first one. Conditions are very nice, tyres are moving a lot. Not easy to understand the tyres yet.

It was okay, some places a lot of loose snow and difficult to feel the lines of the WRC, but other places okay. I am just trying to keep the lead and not drive any faster.

Difficult to find the rhythm this morning, not really in the mood. Quite slippery out there, finding the line in the snow behind the WRC car is difficult. First time for me with the car on these types of roads, trying to explore.

Still there, really difficult to drive, doing different things all the time and really difficult to control the engine. Not easy to drive, just trying to keep the lead. Tomorrow should be a good day with fantastic stages and just trying to protect the lead. The issue could be anything.

Previous stage, half the stage, no power! Now it is completely undriveable. I don't know what it is. Everything is going on all the time. I don't know. It should not break anything but it just undriveable.

I lost engine power in the beginning, then I had no engine power 6km from the end. It sounded like it came back, but I don't know.

Something happened in the back, something got caught in the exhaust. So loud through the whole stage and smelling some sort of fire. No push at all. Let's see if I went too fast or too slow.

It's like my dad told me about at the press conference [the Scandinavian flag]. The testing hasn't been fantastic, all these roads are an eye opener, how the car is reacting and how we are doing. At least I am getting into it but I can't do much more.

I feel the love from the forest! The amount of people sharing love and clapping, is incredible! I can see everybody. It is very difficult to drive, I am in every snow bank possible. For sure it is a lot of getting used to [the car] and the tyres, but it is very difficult.

Few slides in the beginning then I backed off! Very slippery, really struggled to get the feeling I want but just tried to stay clean. No feeling to push in there. I prefer myself to win, I don't care about anything around me. Everything is so new right now, we just go step-by-step and we'll see.

Slippery! Very slippery, few brakings. The rest not too bad. It is difficult to get the rear not to slide everywhere, that is what I'm struggling with. The feeling is okay, let's see for tomorrow.
