It is not what we wanted coming her and having an issue and retiring yesterday was not the plan. We are sorry to everyone supporting us. Big thanks to them for doing the repairs. It has been good to rebuild the confidence but the pace has been getting better. We just need to keep trying as l'm sure one day it will click together.

We made some damper clicks. This morning was a high speed recce to check everything. I still feel loads of places where I can be faster. We are not close to Taka's time but a much better improvement than this morning. I'm just trying to rebuild the confidence. That felt somewhat normal again.

It is very loose to be honest. The first part of the stage is very fast but when the car is gliding over the gravel it is difficult to commit to the speed. It was a bit strange as we drove the corner we went off on yesterday. At least we are able to make it round there. I think the speed was ok but the corner was too tight yesterday.

It is obviously very tricky to know what to do. This stage is not so easy to get back out and get going again. It has lot of surface stages. I was trying to clean my windscreen and it was getting scummy from the water and the sun was hitting of it. It was a really bad stage and probably the worst stage of my life. I won't give up.
