We broke the exhaust manifold at the end of the penultimate stage, we therefore did the last one with only two thirds of the power. We had started to be on the pace as we drive very little. The start of the rally was difficult, we began to adjust the car this morning and the gravel suited me well, we had raised the level against Michel and Salinas. This is rally. This is not our year, we did three events and have always been unlucky, at least here we are at the finish, and this is not the case for everyone.

A very difficult rally. To be at the finish is already a small feat. Three days of racing, it was my first international rally with many kilometres of stages, with a Megane which is 2-wheel drive and with which we had to fight against 4-wheel drive cars, the result is satisfactory for a first time with Team Renault Sport. I'm really happy with the weekend, we have experienced beautiful things, beautiful sceneries, a great organization, I'm really very happy.

The final loop was not too bad. We probably went for a too soft tyre, we couldn't push as much as we wanted in the last stage. We still made it to the finish and on the podium which, after all the problems, is not so bad. The speed was also quite good, not such a bad weekend.

The balance is positive. To finish second here at Rallye du Valais is a good thing, especially given the competition. This is not a victory but somehow our opponents were stronger than us. I think we've had some pretty favourable circumstances. It's a bit like this year's Rallye Monte-Carlo. It was important to stay there, to make no mistake, to be focused, not to take a penalty, to drive fast and clean. I am happy because I still have the speed, I miss a touch of madness compared to the first crews but the old man is not dead yet, it's okay.

The last two weeks were not so bad. A good end to the season with second in Sanremo and now two victories. Very good. The rally was not easy. We spun in the first stage, and again today in a hairpin and I had to reverse. We didn't have any problems and I think we always made the right tyre choice, we always had the best compound, so a very good rally in many ways.

We attacked well in the Champex stage. It's more complicated on gravel because I am discovering the car on this surface. The long stage is difficult to manage because the downhill is completely dry. We made a good loop, we enjoyed ourselves.

It was difficult. The “Les Cols” stage is a big one. I felt I was doing well. In the downhill part the tyres overheated, we were on intermediates while slicks might have been needed. The feeling when we got out of the stage was we had given everything, it's tough.

This morning we started with snow tyres in an attempt to catch Olivier Burri. On the whole loop the choice was not good. We limited the damage, trying to put slicks on the front in the third SS but it was not good at all. In the last stage we crossed the tyres and I think it was not too bad.

The first three stages were not so bad. In the last one we pushed quite hard. Normally the time should be good, I am quite pleased with this morning. I have to say that the last stage is one of the most beautiful ones I have ever driven in my life, really fantastic. It's like having three completely different rallies in one stage, very beautiful.

We had a lot of concern over this loop, I did not test in the rain with this tyre and I was surprised. I think I could have won the first stage should I had have a little more self-confidence. After in the second stage we have changed some pace notes but we did well. The third was not too bad. In "Les Cols" I made a big mistake, I should have stiffened the car because I left it too soft. We did not find any rain and we were in agony from the first kilometers.

Not so bad, we just drove safely. It's very easy to make a mistake, now we have quite a big gap to second place and we can just drive safely. Aigner went off on the third corner of the long stage, there is a wooden bridge before the corner which is very slippery when wet, they went straight into the rocks. They are both OK, they walked back to the stage start. The front right end of their car is totally off.

This is my first International rally, I have not done many events with the Megane and had to cope with all of this. Now it's okay. Tomorrow will be a long day with many parts on gravel and conditions which prove difficult. We will try to do well and to bring points to the Renault Sport team.

For me it went crescendo. Yesterday we had a small technical problem with the car, now it is fixed. For me it is above all an opportunity to get back in the action, with slightly difficult conditions as I had not been rallying since six months. To drive a Super 2000 in these conditions is not always straightforward, anyway I really enjoyed myself.

I thought I had driven well in the first stage but I noticed that the others were much faster. We can see that they have the pace of the World Championship. In the second we did a little better while in the third one we lost time again. On the last SS the road was destroyed. This is a road position problem. I was already penalized yesterday by being eighth. Tomorrow the fight will not be by the second, but by 30sec per stage. The weather might be bad, and especially if we are not allowed to fit proper rain tyres I do not even know if I will restart.

Overall the day was fantastic. In the afternoon on the long stage things went as I had expected. I thought I would lose time in the morning as well but there we were really close. Finally I am very happy with the performance. A good fight with Esapekka, he did very good stage times in the afternoon. Tomorrow will for sure be a long day. If the stages are under 15 km everything is OK with the car, beyond that point it starts overheating and then it's not possible to push 120% anymore, just 110%.

It went very well overall. I was told before the start that the roads were very slippery and this is indeed the case. I wish I could have changed some settings before SS 2 unfortunately we got stopped by the police and did not have time to. I think it could have been better in the fast sections. The second stage was more degraded than the first, as soon as the surface was rough we did not take any risks, the rally is still long.

It's not too bad, we're here despite a puncture in the last stage. It's very tricky, the car was sliding, I was on the throttle and when it regained grip it completely changed direction and I hit a rock. I thought it would be worse, but at first glance this seems to be only a puncture. Happy to be here, to have found a car with brakes that work, I'm regaining self-confidence after the last rallies where it was not good at all. In the end we could have lost a lot more. It is a slow puncture on the last lap which did not overly penalize us.

This is not a good day for me. I have not been able to test and I lack feeling. I am left-foot braking too much, I do not let go of the car. It is the lack of kilometres compared to other drivers which penalizes me. I have not driven this car for seven months. I cannot free myself and go into the corners as I should, I have no confidence in the front of the car for now.

Not so bad, except the first stage where we had a spin. The mountain stages are mostly dry but there are some places where it's wet, so you have to be careful all the time. This superspecial in here was quite funny, so much mud on the road, it was fun to play with the car.

It's going quite well, it's nice to drive let's say without pressure. We secured the Production Cup title in Sanremo so for me it's nice to drive here just to test the tyres and have fun. Road conditions were quite good for the Subaru, it's quite slippery and sometimes the feeling is like being on ice so I was really surprised at the first corner. So far, so good, I enjoy.
