INFORMATION ABOUT SS 8
retired (88 - Correia João / Barreto Ricardo): retired after SS 8
flash info (5 - Hirvonen Mikko / Lehtinen Jarmo): It was ok, it was good, just took me a while to wake up. Its just flat out.
flash info (1 - Ogier Sébastien / Ingrassia Julien): Not a bad start, still a bit of humidity, more than I expected. We have the split from Tanak and it looks like he has a good rhythm.
flash info (4 - Østberg Mads / Andersson Jonas): We try to continue the same way and try to increase the speed, find the confidence on the mud. The speed seems to be not so bad. I think the surface is getting better.
flash info (20 - Sordo Dani / Martí Marc): We are pushing a little bit hard. We have soft compounds and softs in the boot. The feeling is really good.
flash info (7 - Neuville Thierry / Gilsoul Nicolas): Right setup, at the beginning of the stage it was quite okay with my tyre choice. On this one I struggle with the understeer on the last part. I lost a bit of time in there.
flash info (16 - Solberg Henning / Minor Ilka): It was not so good, a very difficult stage. I am quite happy but I lost some. It is a difficult one.
flash info (9 - Mikkelsen Andreas / Markkula Mikko): Trying to building on what we did yesterday. Still not very fast but it is getting there, step by step. A good stage to begin with. It is easier today than yesterday.
flash info (21 - Prokop Martin / Tománek Jan): It started well, not so confident with the fast parts, the slow parts we were okay. May be braking too much, but it was not bad. For me it is more and more slippy, the choice of soft tyres was not so bad.
(8 - Hänninen Juho / Tuominen Tomi): puncture
flash info (12 - Al Qassimi Khalid / Patterson Chris): Its good in the fast sections but there was a lot of mud in the corners.
flash info (2 - Latvala Jari-Matti / Anttila Miikka): Fantastic job from our team and our mechanics. The target is to try to get the feeling back. We need to see what happens, drive over some stages and see what happens then.
flash info (10 - Kubica Robert / Szczepaniak Maciej): Its ok, yesterday was very strange accident. It was not even the corner, we hit the tree. There is a line, proper line, Evans is cutting quite a lot and I was not expecting.
flash info (6 - Evans Elfyn / Barritt Daniel): The team have done an incredible job and they have turned it around and the car is absolutely perfect. Some places slippery, some places grip. Patches, some places greasy, not easy.
