INFORMATION ABOUT SS 8
retired (81 - Raymond Stephen / Raymond Glen): retired in SS 8
flash info (44 - Quinn Nathan / Calder David): It hasn't been too bad. We've had a clean run this afternoon. Plenty of Aussie support out there.
flash info (31 - Al Rajhi Yazeed / Orr Michael): Good time, we fight to lead but unlucky. We need to step by step push.
flash info (40 - Al-Kuwari Abdulaziz / Clarke Marshall): A good day, this stage was very difficult as half of it, we were in the dust. For us it was very difficult. Not an easy day.
flash info (38 - Protasov Yuriy / Cherepin Pavlo): Very dangerous place, very narrow, very difficult to drive. Many place just brake… It is very difficult! It is not easy rally but we are happy for the experience.
flash info (39 - Al-Attiyah Nasser / Baumel Matthieu): Today we have a good run, except the long stage we have lot of dust. I think because there is no wind. We do not take any risk and we are happy to finish today without any problem.
flash info (37 - Bertelli Lorenzo / Granai Lorenzo): I struggle with the tyres, but even with this stage with new tyres there was too much difference between front and rear. The car of Lefebvre was on the side, nothing bad.
retired (4 - Lefebvre Stéphane / Prévot Stéphane): broken wheel in SS 8
flash info (8 - Paddon Hayden / Kennard John): The same problem, every right hand corner it does not want to turn, it doesn’t want to go round the corner. Some dust problems but you know it will be the same for everyone so you just have to push on.
flash info (20 - Sordo Dani / Martí Marc): The dust a lot of dust at the end of the stage, also in the middle. Was difficult to take risk as you could not see anything.
flash info (6 - Tänak Ott / Mõlder Raigo): We had a bit of this bad feeling from the first stage and then on this one it was really bad. It was difficult to keep the car straight. Sometimes the left wheel is pulling sometimes the right wheel is pulling.
flash info (3 - Meeke Kris / Nagle Paul): Dust, the dust is hanging. If this was in the dark this would be dangerous. I had a good day. You cannot see the end of the bonnet in 6th gear!
flash info (5 - Evans Elfyn / Barritt Daniel): To be honest the feeling wasn’t great again. I felt the car had a mind of it’s own when we had any loose. I will have to check the tyres to see if we have any tread on them.
flash info (7 - Neuville Thierry / Gilsoul Nicolas): It is getting more and more dusty, it was difficult. A couple of fast places it was difficult. I managed to get through, keep my rhythm.
flash info (9 - Mikkelsen Andreas / Fløene Ola): It is not ok, it is like a snake all over the place, it is uncontrollable. I do not know what the car is going to do. We will see in service but something is definitely not correct.
flash info (2 - Latvala Jari-Matti / Anttila Miikka): I knew I was going to lose on this one. My rear tyres were not in a good shape. I said if we lose 5-seconds that will be alright, if we lose more than that I will be disappointed.
flash info (1 - Ogier Sébastien / Ingrassia Julien): It hunk we have done everything we had, for sure we will not end in the lead tonight. The long stage tomorrow will again be very difficult. I had a small transmission problem at the end of this stage, I was losing traction.
