INFORMATION ABOUT SS 9
retired (74 - Pedder Mark / MacNeall Glenn): retired in SS 9
flash info (42 - Pedder Scott / Moscatt Dale): It was a stupid accident really. We cut on the entry to a corner and hit a hole. The car took off and got beached off the road. It took us 10 minutes to get back on. The car is ok.
flash info (43 - Linari Gianluca / Arena Nicola): At the start I didn't find the rhythm but it got better in the second half. But this is a long stage and I'm an old driver - my back is aching now.
flash info (44 - Quinn Nathan / Calder David): We had a pretty good run. Heaps of people out on the stages. Great to see.
flash info (31 - Al Rajhi Yazeed / Orr Michael): We did it well. We had a good setup. I thing we can do more.
flash info (40 - Al-Kuwari Abdulaziz / Clarke Marshall): The last 3 or 4 kms, I have to stop due to cows, one or two fast corners, but it doesn’t delay us more than 10-seconds. Very slippy. It’s okay, not bad time.
flash info (38 - Protasov Yuriy / Cherepin Pavlo): I am brake completely stop… Maybe ten (cows), big small!
flash info (39 - Al-Attiyah Nasser / Baumel Matthieu): It is not easy, from beginning we have little bit mis-fire, suddenly gone and come back again. I don’t know what the problem is but we try to manage and fix it. In the middle of the stage and then it is gone, something electric.
(42 - Pedder Scott / Moscatt Dale): accident in SS 9
retired (37 - Bertelli Lorenzo / Granai Lorenzo): technical problem - engine in SS 9
flash info (8 - Paddon Hayden / Kennard John): We made some suspension changes and it feels much better.
flash info (20 - Sordo Dani / Martí Marc): I don’t have brakes, after a couple of kilometres I lost the braking in the rear, nothing. Some moments in the stage the car has lost the power, I don’t know, but the principle problem is the brakes, no rear brakes.
flash info (6 - Tänak Ott / Mõlder Raigo): Beginning was good, I have never done this stage fast. Quite good.
flash info (3 - Meeke Kris / Nagle Paul): We had a big gamble with the tyres and it looks like it is not a good time, we should be taking a lot more time. Ok, we tried. We need to be taking 15 to 20 seconds off them, so for me it is the wrong tyre choice.
flash info (5 - Evans Elfyn / Barritt Daniel): Definitely started a lot better. It was quite loose, as soon as we entered the narrow section in the trees the car started to move a lot and when we left that section, I didn’t seem to get my confidence back.
flash info (7 - Neuville Thierry / Gilsoul Nicolas): It was ok, there is some cleaning but less than yesterday. I try to follow the lines from the guys in front. I pushed in a few sections quite hard. Towards the finish there were some shadows so I took it careful there.
(37 - Bertelli Lorenzo / Granai Lorenzo): stopped in stage
flash info (9 - Mikkelsen Andreas / Fløene Ola): Was a good stage for us, I was happy with my drive. We will see how it went in the end. It was not possible to do much more, it was a clean drive. Not bad.
flash info (2 - Latvala Jari-Matti / Anttila Miikka): We are running hard tyres and Sebastien is running mixed tyres. The beginning was good, the mid-section was very slippy. I know I can improve a bit, some sections I was too careful. There is a powder surface in the mid section and that is where I was struggling. It seems that maybe the softs were not overheating.
flash info (1 - Ogier Sébastien / Ingrassia Julien): For sure it was not a bad tyre choice we have done, on this stage there was still much sweeping. A little bit of a line, Lefebvre is first time here, not everywhere but at least it was something.
flash info (4 - Lefebvre Stéphane / Prévot Stéphane): Big moment for the first time… I slide a lot of time, is difficult. I start with four soft tyres. Not bad but it was difficult.
