INFORMATION ABOUT SS 13
(12 - Lappi Esapekka / Ferm Janne): It's difficult to describe, but since a small boy I've been dreaming of driving a World Rally Car in Finland. Now it's happening and I'm leading. I'm speechless. Tomorrow I'll drive the best stage in the world in this car. Can I win? I don't know. I need to concentrate. I don't want to force a fight with Jari-Matti. My target was the podium and that's still the target.
(10 - Latvala Jari-Matti / Anttila Miikka): I must say I have been doing what I can but Esapekka has been quicker than me today. I will see what I can do tomorrow.
(15 - Suninen Teemu / Markkula Mikko): The forest stages have been good. Some fastest times there. But I need to improve my times in these city stages.
(9 - Breen Craig / Martin Scott): A good and bad day. Some good speed when things have been working well. And some issues and mistakes too. Bring on tomorrow.
(11 - Hänninen Juho / Lindström Kaj): It drives surprisingly well. The [left rear] wheel looks bad, and over the jumps you need to take care, but I'm really lucky to be here.
(14 - Østberg Mads / Eriksen Torstein): Disappointing of course to lose so much time in some stages. Still, there is a long way to go and the good thing is we are really fast.
(3 - Evans Elfyn / Barritt Daniel): A tough day, quite long, but it got better as it went on. That's a positive. I'm looking forward to tomorrow.
(5 - Neuville Thierry / Gilsoul Nicolas): I'm missing performance from the car. I was driving quite well apart from a couple of stages. To be honest I couldn't do more. Cleaning the road made it more difficult but definitely we don't have the speed.
(7 - Meeke Kris / Nagle Paul): I just didn't feel that I can push today. I just don't have the feeling to commit.
(40 - Huttunen Jari / Linnaketo Antti): An okay day, one mistake in Lakamaa but it's alright. I'm judging myself against [non-WRC 2 registered] Camilli and Veiby
(36 - Gilbert Quentin / Jamoul Renaud): A long day but lucky for us. A good day. We pushed hard - sometimes too hard - but I am pleased.
(37 - Arai Hiroki / MacNeall Glenn): Apart from the pop-off valve everything well today. All under control. I need to be proud of that.
(8 - Al Qassimi Khalid / Patterson Chris): In a lot of places I was trying to be so tidy but the moment I hit the throttle the car went sideways.
(21 - Gorban Valeriy / Larens Sergei): A very long but good day.
(2 - Tänak Ott / Järveoja Martin): The disappointment came early in the day. I have been fighting back for a while. I will keep going tomorrow.
(6 - Sordo Dani / Martí Marc): The car feels great to drive but the times are not so good. That doesn't help the confidence.
Running order: 1.Sordo, 2. Tanak, 3. Gorban, 4. Al Qassimi, 5. Arai, 6.Gilbert, 7. Huttunen, 8.Meeke, 9.Neuville, 10.Evans, 11.Ostberg, 12. Hanninen, 13.Breen, 14.Suninen, 15.Latvala, 16.Lappi. |
