INFORMATION ABOUT SS 12
(33 - Evans Elfyn / Martin Scott): It's been a tough weekend. We were there or there abouts most of the weekend, and we thought that uesterday afternoon was game over with a chance for victory. We really tried to drive well and stay in the middle of the road. I'm well aware that there is a bit of luck that needs to go your way and I never like to inherit positions from others in that way. This is the nature of Rally Turkey especially, and we knew this coming into the weekend. Still very happy - it's not the sweetest victory when you know that you've perhaps been a bit more conservative, but that's the aim of the game.
(11 - Neuville Thierry / Gilsoul Nicolas): I really have the feeling that we deserved more, but to be back on the podium is great. I have to be thankful for the team - the car was working really nice. I hoped for more, but obviously we were unlucky this morning. That's how it is.
(9 - Loeb Sébastien / Elena Daniel): We had a good day today. I didn't try to push in this one because I don't need the points. A very tough day with a puncture in the first long stage. At the end we are here with a podium, so I'm happy.
(69 - Rovanperä Kalle / Halttunen Jonne): We needed to bring the car home for the team's championship points. For sure, the time is not nice - I wanted to be a bit faster, but without big risks it isn't possible.
(44 - Greensmith Gus / Edmondson Elliott): It's been a decent weekend in terms of making improvements. For that reason we can be happy. Thanks to the team, because it took a lot of work to get the car from where it was to where it is.
(4 - Lappi Esapekka / Ferm Janne): I have a broken damper from the previous stage, so I just wanted to come to the finish. Without the damper it's quite rough.
(8 - Tänak Ott / Järveoja Martin): Not a good feeling. We are here but it's been a bad weekend.
(26 - Kajetanowicz Kajetan / Szczepaniak Maciej): After a huge crash in Estonia, we did it! I think this is one of the most difficult rallies of my career. It's an amazing feeling - it's hard to talk because we are so happy. Unbelievable.
(24 - Bulacia Marco / Der Ohannesian Marcelo): We are leading the championship and we are very happy. A little bit of sadness because on the last pass of Çetibeli, we had a puncture whilst we were trying to catch Kajto. We will continue to fight in Sardinia to try and become champions.
(28 - Avci Yağız / Vatansever Onur): I have finished! It was a really tough event, after two years without driving a rally it was a good comeback for us. It's been really difficult mentally, but we tried to manage. Thanks to our team and supporters.
(31 - Heller Alberto / Martí Marc): I am very happy to finish this rally - our second rally of the year. I'm really happy with my new co-driver, we enjoyed and now we are looking forward to Sardinia.
(21 - Tidemand Pontus / Barth Patrik): For sure, it's good for the championship. A tough rally, but it's the same for everyone. We wanted to take maximum points here and we did it, now we need to keep going on the next events.
(22 - Fourmaux Adrien / Jamoul Renaud): I am satisfied because it was a big challenge on our first time here. I'm also a bit disappointed because we wanted to beat Pontus but we got a puncture on Saturday. That's rallying and we know we showed good pace this weekend.
(23 - Brynildsen Eyvind / Minor Ilka): It's been a difficult one, but in the end I have to be happy. I am a normal boy going to work during the day and I am lucky that at the weekends I can play with the big boys. I really put a lot of effort in to be able to sit here and I have to say I enjoyed it even though it was a difficult weekend. We go to Sardinia hoping for a bit more luck. |
