INFORMATION ABOUT SS 9
(4 - Kopecký Jan / Hloušek Jan): We had really heavy rain and a lot of aquaplaning. We just had to be really cautious.
(6 - Cais Erik / Těšínský Petr): The heavy rain came also into the city. On full slicks it's bad and I know that Filip has two wet tyres. What can I say? Another wrong tyre choice and I am really sad about it, but what can I do?
(12 - Mareš Filip / Bucha Radovan): For sure, our tyre choice is better, but there are also some dry parts in this stage. It's all about compromise. I hope we managed it well and we will see how it is in the next stage, but this one was good for us. In the first stage I was a little bit sleeping.
(11 - Wagner Simon / Winter Gerald): We have the harder tyres and Filip is carrying two rain tyres, so we will see. We are here.
(9 - Herczig Norbert / Ferencz Ramón): These are the slick tyres but we had a crossed set-up and it was working well. It was absolutely okay on the stage and nothing happened.
(7 - Campedelli Simone / Canton Tania): I think it's like a national championship for us! This one we didn't expect rain, but in the middle it was full of standing water. It's a nightmare but we survived!
(5 - Battistolli Alberto / Scattolin Simone): It was wet! I had two or three moments, but Simone (Scattolin, co-driver) did a good job to keep me calm. I tried to understand most of the things.
(15 - von Thurn und Taxis Albert / Ettel Bernhard): We had a big, big moment on a fast left-hander. It was back and forth between the trees in fifth gear - not something you want to do! I am upset because I wanted to take some rain tyres but we didn't.
(17 - László Martin / Berendi Dávid): It was very hard for me with slick tyres. This was the first time for me in an R5 car in the wet with slicks. It's funny, but let's go to the next.
(3 - Pardo Javier / Pérez Adrián): Very difficult. It's raining a lot in the middle and I am aquaplaning all the time. You go straight and the car is moving all around in fifth gear! I went slow to the finish - it's crazy.
(14 - Březík Adam / Krajča Ondřej): This is one of the most terrible stages I have ever done. The first part was quite good but from the top when you go down to the city, it's aquaplaning all the time - and I have three wet tyres! The guys behind me have slicks I think, it will be horrible.
(8 - Torn Ken / Pannas Kauri): I am happy we are here! A lot of standing water and I am a passenger sometimes! We are lucky to be here.
(10 - Kristensson Tom / Johansson Andreas): I mean, when we started it was slow rain and the surface was dry. Burt then it was full rain - the stage was crazy!
There's heavy rain shower around 5km into the stage - a lot of drivers could face trouble on slick tyres!
