INFORMATION ABOUT SS 17
(69 - Rovanperä Kalle / Halttunen Jonne): Of course I am just driving and this one was quite tough with big ruts. It was a clean stage from us, but nothing crazy.
(33 - Evans Elfyn / Martin Scott): Realistically now there's quite a big gap. In this rally you need to be consistently chipping in the times and to be fair to Kalle, I've had no answer this afternoon - and even all day, to be fair. He's done very well so far.
(8 - Tänak Ott / Järveoja Martin): There's only one day remaining and there's nothing to push for. The rally is still quite interesting - the conditions are constantly changing and we still need to keep focused.
(4 - Lappi Esapekka / Ferm Janne): It's been quite tricky to enjoy today after the puncture. It would be stupid to make a mistake now, but on the other hand, if you don't push then you lose the driving rhythm completely.
(11 - Neuville Thierry / Wydaeghe Martijn): Quite rutted in there, but a bit more consistent than the first pass. An easy run through for us.
(16 - Fourmaux Adrien / Coria Alexandre): I just had a clean drive. I tried to be a bit more confident in the ruts, but it's still hard to find the balance between pushing and being careful.
(18 - Katsuta Takamoto / Johnston Aaron): Of course, I have many things to improve but it's getting better a bit. Not as bad as yesterday, but I will need to work hard.
(44 - Greensmith Gus / Andersson Jonas): It's been okay. The stages, no matter what, are really enjoyable. But this afternoon they have been really rough.
(7 - Loubet Pierre-Louis / Landais Vincent): I was always out of the ruts. I am struggling a lot and it was not very enjoyable today. When it's like this, you don't know what to do.
(2 - Solberg Oliver / Edmondson Elliott): It was quite slippery in the beginning and in the middle I was a bit too careful. It was not the best stage.
(42 - Breen Craig / Nagle Paul): We've had a really nice day. The car felt amazing, but it's hard to compare with our road position. I'm happy and I'm enjoying it, so [hopefully] more of the same tomorrow. |
