INFORMATION ABOUT SS 18
(5 - Pajari Sami / Salminen Marko): It's something so amazing! Maybe I didn't realize, what I have just done. Everybody working at Toyota Gazoo Racing, I'm super super happy and grateful for you! Thanks for all the support, thanks for trusting in myself. And all my sponsors, my family, my friends, everyone who stood behind my back in tricky times, this one is for you! Last but not least, I want to thank myself for not giving up, for going for it once again. We knew it was coming, there was no doubt, but now we have done it. So it's good.
(99 - Solberg Oliver / Edmondson Elliott): It's been a very good weekend for sure, I need to be happy. It's been a couple of hard rallies. Didn't have the full confidence to push on the proper 100% limit like Sami had, he deserves it. Very happy with my weekend, good points and a good stepping stone for the upcoming events.
(16 - Fourmaux Adrien / Coria Alexandre): It is great to be back on the podium sicne Kenya. It has been a very good weekend drivng this car. I'm enjouying the Rally1 car and the speed we are carrying is amazing. Thanks to the team for the preparation and everyone supporting me. Let's see what we can do in Finland.
(11 - Neuville Thierry / Wydaeghe Martijn): Obviously a bit disappointed we lost so much time this morning. We also made some repairs before the stage and were almost late at TC this morning, so maybe I wasn't in a good rhythm. Generally first pass conditions we're struggling a lot with the grip. In the rutted sections I can trust the car and it does more or less what I want. Really pleased with my run in here. Thanks to the team. Shame we lost so much time on the first day, the battle would have been even more interesting.
(1 - Ogier Sébastien / Landais Vincent): We did what we could, I think it was not bad in terms of performance. Little bit of confirmation would have made me faster. But I'm looking for no excuses, we are here. We are looking for a better performance in Finland. Oliver and Sami were strong as expected, especially Sami. I hope he can bring it home now.
(33 - Evans Elfyn / Martin Scott): It was ok. There was some good bits for sure and the stage was pretty rough in places. It was an ok run. It was tough weekend, it was very diifuclt to claw back positions. It is what it is.
(22 - Sesks Mārtiņš / Francis Renārs): It was ok. Friday pace was good and at the end we missed a little bit of something. It is ok we are here. I'm not impressed by today but we will take it.
(4 - Lappi Esapekka / Mälkönen Enni): I have been quite satisfied with the car for much of the rally but the times doesn't match the feeling and it was the same today. I don't know what I need to do for Finland. It was a disappointing weekend.
(95 - Armstrong Jon / Byrne Shane): We've had a lot of fun, hard to not enjoy these stages in this car. We had a good push in here, I had one half-overshoot, probably lost 2-3 seconds in there. Now we are looking forward to Finland.
(18 - Katsuta Takamoto / Johnston Aaron): For sure we tried. It was not easy. There was a lot of mess on the road and without rain we had no chance. We did a lot of work for Finland and hopefully it works there. Hopefully no tyre issues in Finland. It was really annoying, hopefully it won't happen in Finland.
(55 - McErlean Joshua / Treacy Eoin): It is dream to drive these cars in these forests. The weekend was going quite well until it wasn't with the mechanical issue. The speed was there on Friday which was good. It was still a nice weekend. We will reset for Finland.
(23 - Virves Robert / Viilo Jakko): Crazy! I don't know where to start. For sure the most difficult race of my career so far, to be so flat out from the beginning. Quite demanding days for me, the pressure was really high. It's my daughter's first WRC rally, first time she sees me, so there was no other possibility other than winning. Massive thanks to Toksport for another faultless race. Really really happy, thank you to everyone, who is supporting me!
(20 - Korhonen Roope / Viinikka Anssi): What can I say with loosing second place. It was a big disappointment. I tried my best.
(21 - Suninen Teemu / Hussi Janni): What a stage. There was no clean track for the rear tyres. It was crazy to push like crazy. If we are sodn or third we have to be proud of the team. I have got a car good enouhg for the win. It has been a great weekend for us and co-driver Jannu Hussi.
