INFORMATION ABOUT SS 4 | |
(19 - Ingram Chris / Kihurani Alexander): Unfortunately we've had to make the tough call to withdraw, we've had a tough start to the rally with some genuinely really unlucky issues and we've come here to fight for top positions, we were hoping at least a podium and we've decided to save the car and save funds for the next one and come back stronger.
(36 - Raftery Aoife / Comerford Ronan): Towards the second half of the stage we got into it, it's a competitive stage, we're enjoying Barum and it's a crazy rally.
(35 - Johansson Mille / Grönvall Johan): I'm thinking of fighting for victory, we're close. This morning was great, very difficult with all the jumps and the road surface.
(34 - Zanin Mattia / De Guio Elia): I had a problem from yesterday night with my throttle and this morning we try to solve the problem but we continued to add to it, we'll see in the next service but it's not ideal.
(33 - Schulz Timo / Wenzel Michael): Pretty good stage, really clean and we pushed a lot in the first two stages so now we have a good gap between us and 2nd.
(56 - Widłak Igor / Pawłowski Mateusz): I have had many tips for Jon, it's my first rally in a long time and I lose concentration on the stage. It wasn't bad for my first run.
(26 - Armstrong Jon / Fair Cameron): Big challenge but really enjoyed the stage, this is my type of territory so I enjoyed it. Just want to get as close as we can to the Rally2 pace, got to keep going and maintain the same pace.
(24 - Somaschini Rachele / Arena Nicola): Really, really tough, first time here so I enjoyed the stage, we go on and learn a little bit more.
(23 - Kołtun Jarosław / Pleskot Ireneusz): We missed a junction in the slow corner, we didn't see it on the notes.
(21 - Březík Adam / Krajča Ondřej): Absolutely, this is one of the craziest stages in the Barum Rally, wide road, bumpy road and narrow road so yes I'm happy with the time.
(3 - Llarena Efrén / Fernandez Sara): This stage was the most important of the loop, really tricky, especially at the beginning. But looking forward to the rest.
(7 - Franceschi Mathieu / Malfoy Andy): It's the target to be approx. 1sec per km, it's a different stage, there's lots of jumps and it's not easy for us, but it's cool.
(16 - von Thurn und Taxis Albert / Hain Jara): That's an incredible stage! Really, really sketchy at points. Difficult to get a rhythm as it's really really slippy, then it gets tight, then bumpy. We were touching the edge a bit at times, so we lost a bit of confidence, but we're looking to improve.
(6 - Sesks Mārtiņš / Francis Renārs): Everything is difficult. The narrow parts are crazy.
(2 - Østberg Mads / Barth Patrik): Quite good to be honest. Trickiest stages I do with two recce passes, it's crazy but I have to try to commit to my pace notes but it's like 1.5 million corners. We did our best but the locals will be much faster.
(12 - McErlean Joshua / Fulton James): Towards the end yeah, fortunately I have a lot of experience of it.
(15 - Tempestini Simone / Itu Sergiu): You made a bad joke on the previous stage, you told me we had damage and we didn't! We are trying to get used to these kind of stages and get experience.
(1 - Paddon Hayden / Kennard John): We've got a lot more to lose so we're trying to keep it clean, I've misread the conditions for this stage on the recce, I though it was high grip but there's bumps everywhere. We're also trying to get experience for if we come here in future.
(5 - Lukyanuk Alexey / Chervonenko Yevhen): I have no pace notes, I'm driving with my eyes!
(19 - Ingram Chris / Kihurani Alexander): The power steering fluid, the top has come off and it's gone everywhere. Bit distracted, not a very good start to the rally unfortunately.
(18 - Kopecký Jan / Hloušek Jan): This stage is really demanding, there's some quite big jumps, it was not on the cards but we'll go with it. I think Erik is a local lad, so he'll have the experience.
(20 - Stříteský Dominik / Hovorka Jiří): Better than the previous stages, but I think Erik is flying because 14sec is absolutely crazy.
(10 - Wagner Simon / Winter Gerald): Unfortunately we lost the brakes for the last 7km, not ideal but we enjoyed the first loop and the second one will be very demanding.
(9 - Mareš Filip / Bucha Radovan): To be honest, it's my driving. I need to improve.
(14 - Csomós Miklós / Bán Viktor): It was OK, very difficult stages, the first run is difficult but Erik is a top pilot.
(11 - Cais Erik / Bacigál Igor): It's closest stage to my home, sorry I'm not smiling but 25km in this heat is difficult and I was trying to concentrate as muchas possible. It was a special stage in my heart, could've been better in some places though.
