If there was a disadvantage to start first, I never saw it. We start the first round, half of it was completely wet, and then we took the second round and it was half dry. For this loop there will be no water on the road, because it's 35 degrees outside. But this is rally and I have to take it. | |
| Tarmac is at 40 degree surface temp, whilst the blistering sun is beating down on the stage, no doubt affecting tyre wear particularly when we consider that our drivers will be braking on the numerous hairpin bends throughout the afternoon loop. | |
