INFORMATION ABOUT SS 17
(69 - Rovanperä Kalle / Halttunen Jonne): Really nice day. I was oiling the air filter before that stage and it was so sandy that I almost had to change it halfway through! I enjoyed it - the stages are amazing.
(11 - Neuville Thierry / Wydaeghe Martijn): It was a great day. I felt really good in the car and I think we drove the car to its maximum most of the time. There's just a little bit missing to match the pace of Kalle but without the puncture I think it would have been a perfect day.
(4 - Lappi Esapekka / Ferm Janne): I did good in this one on Thursday and I had a couple of missed shifts and lost some time. Now I made sure that I would not have the missed shifts and the time is good.
(33 - Evans Elfyn / Martin Scott): It was a nice day but of course frustrating to give away some seconds to Lappi at points. It's still fairly close and all to play for tomorrow.
(3 - Suninen Teemu / Markkula Mikko): I am quite happy but the pace can always be slightly better. I think it's clever to take the pace step by step and our target is to get the experience.
(7 - Loubet Pierre-Louis / Gilsoul Nicolas): It was possible to do a better day, especially in the afternoon when we had a hybrid issue. It's part of the game, let's continue.
(18 - Katsuta Takamoto / Johnston Aaron): You keep asking me every time but I have no skill to describe what happened [in SS14] in English! I made one big mistake in this stage but we are here and this is the most important stage.
(8 - Tänak Ott / Järveoja Martin): Today was a bit tricky. We just came through and obviously it was nothing special. We had some trouble and some moments but the rest was just driving through. |
