flash info (25 - Ciamin Nicolas / Roche Yannick): After three corners I knew it would be a disaster. Just impossible to get to grips with the hard compound on the car, it's impossible to get grip. We will switch the compound but just a shame for this one.

flash info (11 - Neuville Thierry / Wydaeghe Martijn): I tried but I had a hell of an understeer so I was struggling a lot, the grip was much lower than expected. It is hard to say, back into the rhythm but it feels like it's slow because we it is slippery. It didn't feel so great for me but the time is good.
The sun is shining this morning in Zagreb, beating down on the asphalt surface of Croatia Rally's first stage. SS1 is said to be dry with muddy cuts, meaning tyre care will be a priority for our drivers, with a pragmatic approach possibly being adopted ahead of a long morning involving four stages.
