INFORMATION ABOUT SS 18
(4 - Lappi Esapekka / Ferm Janne): It feels really good! I've been hunting this second victory for quite a while. Big thanks to my family and to Cyril Abiteboul, he brought me into the team after a very bad second half of last year. It's quite a massive contrast from that moment to now...
(33 - Evans Elfyn / Martin Scott): We lost it all in the last couple of corners - not so good. Anyway, overall I guess we can be relatively happy with this result after what happened on Friday, but there are still areas to work on.
(16 - Fourmaux Adrien / Coria Alexandre): It's really, really good for us to be on the podium, after coming back to Rally1. It's been two really hard years but we never gave up and to be on the podium in Sweden is really special. Honestly, I have no words, it's just so nice.
(11 - Neuville Thierry / Wydaeghe Martijn): We did what we could. It was a challenging weekend for us, but I'm happy with the points we got. A good run for us despite the conditions we faced on Friday. That's what it is.
(37 - Bertelli Lorenzo / Scattolin Simone): It started tricky, but I built up my pace and confidence - that's normal if you do a rally just once per year. I really enjoyed the second day, also this morning. This is my best result in Sweden, inside the top ten, so I'm satisfied for that. A lot of things to be happy about. I'm looking forward to maybe next year doing another one.
(13 - Munster Grégoire / Louka Louis): We learned a lot this weekend. There were] all kinds of conditions. Esapekka was saying on Friday they were the worst conditions he had ever seen. Then on Saturday it was much more enjoyable and a lot of experience grabbed. Thanks to the team for their hard work all weekend - I wasn't easy on them! I really hope Adrien closes the podium. I think he really deserves it for a really mature drive - great job!
(69 - Rovanperä Kalle / Halttunen Jonne): I didn't drive so well on this stage. I think I could have been a bit faster with two spares because one front tyre was not optimal. It's been a big disappointment this weekend, not what we came here to do. Sorry and thanks to the team; we did our best today and tried to bring back as many points as we could and help Elfyn at the same timne. Even though EP is from the wrong team, I really hope he is going to bring it home. It's nice to at least have a Finnish winner on the rally!
(8 - Tänak Ott / Järveoja Martin): It's been tricky this weekend to have the pace. Obviously the mistake was very frustrating, and after that it was even more frustrating. From my side, definitely too many mistakes to start the season. We can be a lot better.
(18 - Katsuta Takamoto / Johnston Aaron): Of course I wanted to take some points, but it was very difficult to drive - quite impossible to follow the lines. Because of my mistake yesterday, unfortunately the result didn't come this time. I really need to improve for the future. It's a big disappointment. I cannot find any positives. I need to keep working hard and improving.
(21 - Solberg Oliver / Edmondson Elliott): Amazing, what a weekend with so many people, my family and friends and the atmoshpere! In my first event with Škoda Motorsport, to win like this is amazing. It's cool, just awesome. Elliott and the team did a fantastic job. Thanks also to the volunteers and all the people working for Rally Sweden to make such a great event.
(22 - Pajari Sami / Mälkönen Enni): It was really tricky, somehow way more slippery than I thought, but I'm really happy. It was a really tricky rally, and I'm really pleased for the second place for us and for the team. The car is really fast and relaible - that's the main thing.
(25 - Linnamäe Georg / Morgan James): It's very nice. We've been moving up one position every year; hopefully in two years we can get the win! It was a good rally, just a shame about the small mistake. It's been a team effort and I'm very proud of them. It's amazing what they have done this rally.
(29 - Korhonen Roope / Viinikka Anssi): This was a good run. It was a good rally for us. I'm not fully happy because we lost too much yesterday afternoon, but otherwise good.
(26 - Heikkilä Mikko / Temonen Kristian): We had a couple of nice stages in the rally, but overall it was a big disappointment. I was expecting a better result, but we were a bit unlucky yesterday. We also used Fiday for testing - and this is the wrong place to test! We had a problem with the pop-off valve on this stage that cost us time, but it doesn't matter anymore.
(24 - Joona Lauri / Hussi Janni): To be honest, I'm not happy about sixth position, but with this car at the moment, I didn't find the balance the whole rally. At the moment I have to be satisfied, but we can push more.
